Personally I got for the bigger batteries like the RAVPower 26800/32000.

I wouldn't call the OG Switch obsolete because of better battery life, sure it's great for people that haven't bought one yet but I don't think many people are trading in there old Switch's for this model.
I have thought about it but decided to wait for the rumored PRO model if it ever comes out. I can live with 2-3 hours of gaming in portable mode.

Yeah I'll wait as well. Obsolete is not the good word :/ but it does feel bad. I remember buying the og 3ds just a week before the price drops. Felt like a kick in the teeth

Spent some more time with the new Switch. It runs so much less hot than the old one. Now possible for me to play more intensive games without my right hand sweating to all heck.

Also, it can't be overstated how much better the new screen temperature and battery life are.

Yup, being sold at amazon.de, got mine lat week.
