On today's Bubba The Love Sponge radio show, Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke Hogan mistakenly mentioned how she would be in Orlando next Monday night for "the live broadcast." Bubba responded by saying she made the announcement too early.

According to F4WOnline.com, it is confirmed that another live Monday date is on the Spike schedule, although what exact date that is has yet to be revealed. If Brooke was right in accidentally spilling the beans, it could be next Monday night. Bret Hart's return again versus TNA live as opposition.

Hooray, hope they just make a permanent change soon. More competition is always good, especially since Raw is mostly garbage these days. Then maybe TNA can eventually get that rumored second show and put it on Thursdays instead of just an Impact repeat.

Kinda pissed that I can't go to this (work+getting ready to go back to rutgers) but I only want to see one match. Everything else...soooo don't care. Same thing for Homicide vs. Masato Tanaka in JAPW.

Ibushi vs Richards I assume? Should be an amazing main event. Like you i'm not particularly sold on the rest of the card, although i'm sure the CHIKARA 6-man and DCFC vs Aeroform will both be pretty good and I hope Silas Young gets a good matchup (he's been awesome in AAW this year, same goes for Aeroform).

Also, Cide vs Tanaka? I don't keep up with JAPW, but that sounds like a freaking awesome match, Tanaka has been well in form this year so i'm definetly going to have to check out the dvd of that one when it releases.

Awesome. Bischoff was on Monday Night Mayhem radio (podcast) yesterday and he sounded like he wasn't sure if it was going to happen (permanently). Kevin Nash did twitter that he thought it was going to happen and from what I know pretty much everyone in TNA wants it to happen (Hogan, Bischoff, Carter). The way Bischoff was talking, it almost sounded like it was more likely TNA would jump to another network than get Mondays on Spike.

Also, Hogan is already saying they dropped the ball and should have had multiple live Monday shows lined up so they could have built on the momentum.

IMO they really need to get of the Impact Zone. It just looks bush league. Maybe they can't draw flies down there but I'm pretty sure they could sell out in Toronto and Montreal whether they are in smaller arenas (Ricoh) or big arenas (Bell Centre, ACC) because WWE isn't coming here anytime soon and we like the older wrestlers (Hogan, Flair, Hall, Nash) up here a lot more than they do in the US.

Lol, Edge sucks.
I hated Edge because of the whole Hardy/Lita/Edge drama but I loved it when he kicked Cena's ass when he cashed in the money in the bank a few years back. Everyone hated Cena at the time because he a crap finisher and he was given a push out of nowhere and the crowd absolutely loved Edge beating him up in 2 minutes to win the title.

That money in the bank match was pretty crazy too. If I remember correctly he speared someone in mid-air.

and many people ate it up because cena was hated even more.

What are you talking about? Cena was one of the most popular guys even before he was given the title when he was US champ.

The Cena punch out stuff was awesome, even though the crowd started a Cena sucks chant. The Miz also cut a good promo, but god MVP is such a bitch.

World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Randal “Randy” Orton is facing a court hearing for allegedly spitting gum in the face of a juvenile and swearing at him outside Kowloon Restaurant.

On Jan. 12 a 15-year-old male walked in to the Saugus Police Department to report that Orton, 29, assaulted him in the Kowloon parking lot earlier in the day.

Police Lt. Leonard Campanello said the purported victim alleged that Orton, a third generation professional wrestler and former WWE World Heavyweight champion, reacted angrily to a request for a photo at the Route 1 restaurant around 6:30 p.m.

The teenager told police he took a photograph of Orton in the parking lot and then asked to pose with him for another shot.

But according to the victim, Orton, a 6-foot 4-inch, 245-pound wrestler famous for his RKO finishing move, spit his gum at him and called him a derogatory name.

Campanello said the teen's mother confronted Orton, who allegedly responded “so sue me” when she voiced her protest.

Sure he'll get away with no punishment, if true, also. If he can shit in bags, why not spit on kids.

Saw this, too...

WWE Raw superstar Ted DiBiase was recently interviewed for an upcoming issue of People Magazine, where he talked about "The Marine 2" and showed signs of being interested in acting more. The following is an excerpt from the interview.

TD: I love wrestling, I really do. I've enjoyed it since I was a kid. However, it wasn't something I wanted to do with my life. My father's parents were both wrestlers and my father made the decision to follow in their footsteps himself. In wrestling, there's sort of an unwritten rule that if two generations are involved in the business, the third generation has to be as well. My father, I love him and all, but I only got into wrestling because he wanted me to. It's because of him that I'm doing this. I wanted to be a chef when I was younger, but that was eventually overshadowed by my father's desire to have me wrestle. As I said, I grew up watching wrestling and I would always be a fan, but I didn't want to do it with my life. There are times where I really enjoy being in the ring, but to be honest, I'm not very passionate about it. When Randy [Orton, a teammate of DiBiase] couldn't do the movie, Vince McMahon asked me personally backstage at an episode of Raw if I wanted to film this movie. I thought about it for a week, decided to do it, filmed the movie, and I enjoyed it a lot. I thought to myself, "This is great. This is what I want to be known for."

PM: :So where does this leave you now?

TD: I'll probably wrestle for about two more years. I told myself when I broke in that if I ever won just one championship in WWE, my wrestling career is a success. I've won two. My father is proud of me and I've made some really good friends. I'll never regret my time as a wrestler, but acting is my calling. Besides, my brothers Mike and Brett are the 'wrestling boys' of the family, so to speak. They're the ones who have always wanted to make careers of out of pro wrestling, not me. It wouldn't be fair for me to take that way from them. I'll step away and let them fight out if to see who'll try to match our father's legacy.

Misawa vs Kawada 6-3-94 should be the first match you watch. This is the best ever and only people have not seen it would put any WWE match above this. I remember Meltzer speaking after Misawa's death saying that if the if the WWE matches he though were great were 5 stars than this with other AJPW 90's matches were 6 stars as these blow everything else out the water. Honestly nothing beats the stuff AJPW were putting out in the 90's!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUnIS83oIyQ

Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi vs. Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue June 9, 1995 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoWnvDSXM7A

Toshiyo Yamada & Manami Toyota vs. Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki
(2/3 Falls WWWA World Tag Championship. This is a classic, one of the best ever matches and it is 4 women! WWE Divas don't come close.. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACRQxC_8iXs

Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Tsuyoshi Kohsaka (Rings) Shoot style wrestling doesnt get better than this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iewVglCkJF4

Jushin Liger vs. Great Sasuke - July 8, 1994 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK8HSyDXRXg

IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match : Shinya Hashimoto vs. Nobuhiko Takada (4/29/96). New Japan vs UWFi, amazing heat with a sold out Tokyo Dome crowd. This fued is where Eric Bischoff got his NWO idea from. He took it from the New Japan vs UWFi battle! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58pLoiRo5JU

Jushin Liger vs. El Samurai - Best of the Super Juniors finals, May 9th, 1992 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8R1G...E0742817&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=63

Manami Toyota vs. Aja Kong - November 20, 1994 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdDk...E2FD99E7&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=64

Kikuchi & Kobashi vs Can-Am Express AJPW 25 May. You won't find a pro-wrestling/MMA crowd with more heat anywhere else. The atmosphere is amazing, the crowd are ready to tear the roof down from the very first minute. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU2fW45YvOU

UWF - Masaharu Funaki vs. Minoru Suzuki (4/15/90) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrccNIv0tmM

Just read the Smackdown spoilers and
Punk and Gallows won a shot at the Tag Titles....surely giving it to the Hart Dynasty would have made more sense?

Those two are being pushed to the moon here lately, so I don't know. Maybe creative isn't as sold on the Hart Dynasty as they once were?
