Then who is then, Cena? At least last year they had mini feuds like Undertaker and Benjamin.

bjork said:I really want to say it's going to be Ted. Orton beats Seamus, Ted wins RR and goes against Orton.
Shawn will chase UT so there doesn't need to be a title involved (UT could even drop to Rey and set up Rey/Dave, even though that's yawn city), and HHH will fight Seamus for no good reason other than they're buddies irl.
jecclr2003 said:Ted's SOOOOO not ready to headline WM. Give him some time to actually build up to a feud at that level.
It's going to be Hunter or Shawn. No one on the SD or ECW rosters has a shot in hell of winning it.
Besides, Cena just won it in 2008. They're not going to have him win it again this soon.
Didn't Austin win it two years in a row also?bjork said:Shawn won back to back when he was the golden boy, so anything could happen.
I'm sticking with Ted, though. That's my pick.

During an interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Diamond Dallas Page said he's talked to Eric Bischoff about possibly joining TNA down the line for a short-term program and perhaps even wrestling. The former WCW World Heavyweight says he has about ten more matches left in the tank.
As far as Savage is concerned, despite their past differences, Hogan would love to have him on board with TNA. He feels if Savage dyed his gray beard and got back into shape, he would be good enough to return to the ring.
"I'd LOVE to see the Macho Man," Hogan said. "Dye that old gray Santa Claus beard he's got. Get back in shape. And teach these young guys how to do it because I could sure use his help. He's got a great mind for the business."

I guess all the 45-50 year old wrestlers Hogan & Bischoff have brought to TNA are not quite old enough so they're taking it to the next level and bringing back wrestlers in the 55-60 year old range now.
If Morrison was built up just a little more going into the Rumble, it could have been him. I was kinda calling that at the time. He had insane momentum during Smackdown's Summer but that kinda got pissed away when he won the IC Championship.jecclr2003 said:Cody's going to toss Ted out.
As for Cena, this is the new, predictable WWE. They've painted themselves into a corner by making the Rumble winner main event Mania. It's ALWAYS a guy that's already at that level and probably doesn't need the push anyway.
I say they take a chance and strap a rocket on someone's back who's "just about" there.
Penguin said:I don't know, I wish it wasn't coming down to HHH/HBK, but seem like the two most likely.
The sad thing is, Hunter really doesn't have any story going into Mania, but because HBK does, he automatically gets one.
Some possibilities
Hunter wins faces Sheamus
Shawn wins faces Taker.
Morrison wins faces Batista.
Cena wins takes on Sheamus.
Batista wins but challenges Taker at No Way Out.

The hope of that being good left when Shane did. It will just be Steph and Hunter.bjork said:You know, I hope I live long enough to see what a McMahon-free WWF looks like.

If she did then that would leave it with HHH. I don't see him leaving the business.bjork said:Those are McMahons, I mean when they're gone too. Once Vince is in the ground, I kind of see Steph bailing out and retiring rich.
oh snap!Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
A decision has been made by TNA and Spike TV to move TNA iMPACT! permanently to Monday nights, reports the The Wrestling Observer.
The second Monday night iMPACT! is scheduled to air on March 1 following the success of the first Monday iMPACT! on January 4.
The March 1 episode will air at 9:00 p.m. EST, but the official weekly timeslot has not been confirmed yet.
The likely taping schedule will be live on Mondays one week, then tape the following week's iMPACT! the next day on Tuesdays.

apparently, every other monday will be live and the next week's ep will be taped on tuesdays.
Dumb, should have been live every Monday. The Faceless Master said:oh snap!

Eh, the WWF did the same thing back in '96-97, I believe, as it's a way to save on costs. I have no problem with alternating live shows if it's more financially rational for TNA.cjelly said:Dumb, should have been live every Monday.

The normal recovery time for that injury did not match him coming back because of his athleticism/youth/etc. I mean it's not like he was supposed to be out 8 months, but he did come back a bit earlier than expected.hoqhuuep said:I mean he was really injured, but pretended he was supposed to be side-lined much longer than he really had been.

WWE wrestler Chris Jericho was arrested at a gas station in Kentucky early Wednesday morning after cops say he and a fellow wrestler were both "extremely intoxicated" in public.
39-year-old Jericho was taken into custody in Kenton County around 5 AM for "alcohol intoxication in a public place."
Jericho -- who was arrested along with fellow wrestler Greg "Hurricane" Helms -- was forced to smile for cop cam -- and TMZ obtained the mug shots.
Jericho and Helms were released on $120 bond -- each ... no that's not a typo.
