WHY!?!

It's fucking Perfect Strangers, but with wrestlers!

Beth Phoenix wrote about yesterday's reports of a new sitcom with her, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov on her Twitter with the following: "Glamarella....like you've never seen it before. prepare for the unexpected as Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix enter the world of sitcoms!"

Matt Hardy Involved in Chris Jericho Incident
Posted Jan 28th 2010 2:51PM by TMZ Staff

WWE star Matt Hardy was among a group of people involved in an early morning incident that led to the arrests of Chris Jericho and Greg "Hurricane" Helms, this according to law enforcement sources.

Witnesses told cops Hardy was in a taxi with Jericho, Helms and several others Wednesday morning -- when Helms allegedly struck three people ... including one female.

Witnesses say Hardy took off on foot -- just like Helms allegedly did -- when the cab driver pulled over at a Kentucky gas station and called 911.

We're told Helms came back to the scene and was arrested -- but Hardy was gone for good. Cops are not pursuing any sort of action against Hardy.

As we first reported, the female passenger decided not to file charges against Helms over the alleged attack. Helms and Jericho were arrested for "alcohol intoxication in a public place."

Any idea why the Hart Dynasty are not involved in the Bret/Vince angle? Seems like a golden opportunity to help them get over.....
Bret doesn't want to interfere with their career, thats what I get from hearing the last few interviews he did in 2009.

I just don't see the Hart Dynasty and him jelling together. Besides the similar name, I can't see him coming out with them and doing such. I can see him doing a bit or something where he interacts with them in the back during a segment or something. In a manager type position? No.

Just reminding folks WWE Volume 10 is out today, and only 4 bucks on Amazon... or being the internet.... free by other means.

Just happy to have the Miz, Zach Ryder and Jeri-Show's theme. :D

That's a bummer. They could be tag champs right now and be put over with Hart in the fold (not necessarily a manager role) and a win over DX. Of course, only way that happens is if DX actually defends the titles themselves.

That was SO bad :lol

People who can't talk shouldn't do skits like that. It's like...I dunno, imagine the camera were on the non-talking person in Mass Effect or something. Just this blank, emotionless stare.

These TNA skits, and promos are so bad. I don't care about Mick Foley vs. Bishoff, I don't care about Team 3D vs. The freakin' Nasty Boys, I don't care about Jeff Jarrett vs. Hulk Hogan power struggle. They give all of these old guys all the TV time, and RUSH through all of the wrestling segments which leaves every swerve, or match to feel like a mess.

TNA is so weird at times.

I don't know if Jarrett is face or heel at this point, he seems to change by week.

And then they want him to start at the bottom? no one starts at the bottom by main eventing the show! :lol

I saw this on another board, but this is probably the best part of this entire Jericho, Hurricane, Hardy story...

This hasn't come out yet, and wouldn't it make for great promos if it did.

They were bailed out by a Mr. Phillip Brooks.

If the WWE had any sense, they'd capitalize on this and put Helms in Punk's cult.

The angle along with the accompanying promos literally write themselves!

So watching Smackdown from July 2002, and quite the episode.

Cena's Ruthless Aggression.

Randy Orton/Val Venis taking on Reverend D-Von and Batista. :lol

So weird to see them so green and all with hair.

Atlanta expected to host WrestleMania in 2011
Friday, January 29, 2010, 3:28pm EST

Atlanta city and sports officials are expected to announce on February 1st that the city will play host to WrestleMania XXVII in 2011.

The announcement of a “major sporting event” has been scheduled at the Georgia Dome, and the list of dignitaries for the press conference includes Mayor Kasim Reed and members of the Atlanta Sports Council, executives of the Atlanta Falcons and state officials.

The event could bring at least 65,000 fans from around the world to the Georgia Dome for the professional wrestling match and its week of activities, the media alert states.

WrestleMania is the flagship event of Stamford, Conn.-based World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: WWE), a kind of “Super Bowl” of professional wrestling.

The event could mean big dollars for Atlanta.

Houston hosted WrestleMania XXV in 2009 with an attendance of 72,744 with an economic impact of 49.8 million.

Orlando hosted WrestleMania XXIV in 2008 and realized a $51.5 million economic impact and Detroit hosted the event in 2007 and saw a $29.7 million economic impact.

This year's WrestleMania will be held in Glendale/Phoenix.

FUCK YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of WCW's acquisition by hosting WWE's biggest PPV on the arena that WCW considered their "Madison Square Garden" in their own home turf.

I'm sure its just all a big coincidence

Am I the only person who still watches SmackDown?

Nobody ever mentions it in here any more. :(

I still watch it, but it hasn't been good enough for me to watch it early on Youtube in a long time. Its still better than Raw most of the time though.

Speaking of Smackdown, why was I under the impression that Morrison and McInttry were in the Rumble match? It couldn't have been the promo they gave 3 weeks ago saying they would both win, but they aren't listed in the match. :lol

I am asleep when it's on because I work overnights, and I like to sleep right before work. On the rare occasion that I'm around when it's on, I'll usually stop and give it a few minutes before changing channels.

I have watched very little wrestling since Misawa died. Gonna watch Smackdown tomorrow morning though and the Rumble.

I took it off my Sky+ a few months back, and just forgot about it. Watching now since you reminded me...

...why is CM Punk teamed with two bald twits?

He is building a stable of straight edge wrestlers. He shaves their head to give them a reminder of their straight edge lifestyle.

Yeah I don't get it either.

According to Wikipedia, five spots are left for the Rumble. There are only seven Smackdown stars in it. Where's Ziggler, Morrison, and McIntyre? Maybe they will take three of the spots, and then finally Edge and a one time appearance (please be Awesome Kong).
