This America is why you have police issues. Because of individuals who dont understand that police like soldiers are/should be trained to approach violence as a last resort or at the very least only use it when all threats have been identified.

I remember seeing an article where a police officer in Iceland APOLOGIZED to the family of a crazed violent man that was shot dead by police. It was so rare even justified shootings warranted an apology.

In the US they won't apologize because that just opens themselves up to a lawsuit.
