How sad is it this the starting pitcher on the Yankees who works best under pressure is...
Aaron Small. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

It is sad, but man, Small is really showing something tonight. Great stuff.

See y'all tomorrow. :D

Nice clutch hitting Jays...oh wait. We lost 6-2......we were outhit only 11-9 :( I hate games like this. Thanks to the yankee fans (hopefully all of them came from NYC or had lived there before and weren't torontonians posing as yankee fans) we had the biggest attendance since opening weekend with around 43k there. It was a good atmosphere, but a lousy game.

Stros suck. All they need to do is win to put the final dagger in the Cubs but they can't do it! Cubs stay within 5 games of the wild card I'll keep hope alive! :(

*wakes up after passing out, last thing I remember on TV is Latoi coming out ot pitch...

*sees Astros went 1-2-3 and out.

Whew...Seo escaped this last inning with runners is scoring position.:)

Can't blame the Pizza man on that stolen base,he isn't playing today. Its probably tht Seo is so slow at delivering his off speed junk that even a dinosaur like Maddux can steal off the guy:lol

Hmm, a few days ago some guy from baseball prospectus wrote that article about the Big 3 being one of the best of all time...now they're pitching like crap!

Coincidence? I think not.

Stros are back to May form!

Stupid Houston. Gonna keep the Cubs within 5 games of the wild card!!!!

The Cubs are at the "Finish Him!" stage but Houston cannot perform the fatality! This means the Cubs will bounce back!

Hillenbrand stealing home was great. Wells, Hillenbrand, and Hill were each 3/4. Menechino with a surprising one-run shot. So at least finally some of these guys broke out of their slumps. Too bad Downs didn't get the win though, he's pitching decent lately and you can see his intensity.

Hey guys, not to step in the middle of a fan cockfight for two teams who currently aren't in first in their sad little division, but maybe you've noticed a new player on the 1st place Atlanta Braves named JEFF FRANCOEUR, or JESUS as we like to call him.

JESUS has come to the Braves to lead them to an impossible 14th straight division title and eventual world series victory. It's true! He's also gonna steamroll his way to the ROY for the NL.

"That's how bad we're hitting -- we've got Joe Crede as the DH," manager Ozzie Guillen said before the game. "I was making fun of myself. I was like, 'Wow, how bad are we when we've got Crede as the DH?'"

:lol :lol :lol

well, at least we won.

WTF? I leave to go bike riding and I see the Giants blew their lead and lost in the final 2 innings against Houston, damn!!!. Now the Mets will have to hope for a sweep just to stay 3 back.

C'mooooooooooooooon Victor Zambrano.

Though deep down I know the Mets aren't a wild card team. Its fun to watch them stay close though.

They never had the lead...

You seem to take great pleasure in that, huh:lol

Anyway I dunno what I saw, maybe I need more sleep.

Nah, I knew they didn't because if they had I would've been worried about lack of run support the entire game, since we had scored 2 runs in 18 innings prior to today. :lol :lol

Clemens = Cy Young lock

it hurt to type that.
Carpenter is putting up some amazing numbers as well. Carpenter is going to end up with like 22 wins though.

If the Astros make the playoffs, Clemens is a lock though.
