ITT: entitlement issues!

Given that the show doesn't actually AIR until Friday at stupid o'clock in the morning there's going to be a lot of protection going on.

The Japanese say it airs on Thursday because they list the airtime as "Thursday at 26:10" - which is of course Friday at 2:10am.

For those who don't know, the new opening song for the show is supposedly the other original song (boys, come back to me) included in the recently released Audio CD single from Etsuko Yakushimaru (&#12420;&#12367;&#12375;&#12414;&#12427; &#12360;&#12388;&#12371;) or Tika&#12539;&#945; (&#12486;&#12451;&#12459;&#12539;&#945;). I absolutely love the accompaniment, but Etsuko sounds like shit in this. Really, she's not leading at all. 'Noruniru' allowed her to bounce around on the track a bit more, which seems to be her forte.

Hmm.... GG fansubbers seem to do a decent job of translocalization most of the time, but other times it comes off as stilted and during those moments I end up wishing they'd just do a straight translation.

This was not very good. It was insane, incredibly silly, and totally shameless though, so my interest is piqued a bit. Smugdouche is as advertised.

Chihayafuru 1

This on the other hand was actually really good. The card game is lame but I figure that's not the point. Looking forward to seeing where they go with this.

So, Ringo has started to get wet at the thought of Shoma, who finds himself in bondage. Kanba continues to want to get in his sister's pants, and it seems like all of this could have been avoided if he just kept his dick in check. The episode was pretty well directed and there were some nice and creepy scenes along with some great aesthetics.

Well, that's easy. Or, rather, it isn't.

Unique (in a good way) anime:

Mononoke (I think you've seen this) + The last two episodes of Ayakashi (because they're actually Mononoke episodes)

Trapeze (I think you've seen this)

Kemonozume, Kaiba, The Tatami Galaxy and Mind Game are all directed by one rather noteworthy fellow. His works are certainly unique.

Anne of Green Gables - Fairly down to earth story about the minutia of one unique girls life. Directed by a Ghibli giant, Isao Takahata.

Wings of Honeamise - The first movie ever produced by those crazy kids at GAINAX. An extremely realistic story about the dream of a few people to fly into space.

Jin-Roh : The Wolf Brigade

For starters. They're pretty well known, but still.

I don't know if I can watch this as a comedy anymore after Switch's backstory. Something just doesn't sit right with me laughing after that.

I like the new OP, but wtf at the ED. It's like a toned down version of the Needless ED, but then there's Yabasawa >_>

Also I finally started playing Persona 4 last night in preparation for the anime, and promptly got swamped by the game's complexity, though I guess that's a discussion for the OT over in gaming.

Rihoko =( I knew she was gonna get maimed. Well, at least Asuha won hers.
I'd wish for Kuroko to win her round, just because I love Satomi Arai's voice, but in this case as well I'm not holding my breath.

It's a pretty great OP, far better than the original. Sometimes I feel that discussing OP's as a separate entity from the original show is weird, but then I remember that they're just pretty cool music videos that might connect to a show and it all makes more sense in my head,
