2012 NBA Apr |OT| Presented By Unicef and Feed The Children, Fuk Yo Hunger Clown.

You could write a book about how badly Tim Duncan destroyed the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.

Its a damn shame he wasn't an all-star this year. Hes still (way) better than Marc. But his numbers were low at the all-star break so I guess you can't complain; the lockout reduced the amount of data voters had to make a decision.

Isn't anyone gonna help that poor man?

Lebron

DO SOMETHING

it's so fucking hilarious. As he was bringing the ball up, he was already trying to find someone to pass it off to. He does not want to create plays. Waits for someone else to do something to pass it off. Not like Rondo, like someone who wants to do nothing.

His body language is soooooo different at the end of a game than the rest of it. It's staggering.

How can anyone deny this? It's not about not being clutch, it's something entirely different.

It's impossible to talk to someone intelligently who actually doesn't believe that psychological factors, confidence, etc. have anything to do with taking high pressure shots and making those shots, and then not allowing your self confidence to be shaken once you're criticized or you miss.

The fact that people dispute this simple yet universally accepted notion is just mind-boggling.

But by all means keep believing that players are robots with no emotions that execute simply based on statistical models

Psychological factors matter but that doesn't mean a guy shooting 45% in clutch time is worse than a guy shooting 34% just because he doesn't do the beaver Kobe face and take bad shots to stroke his own ego when it hurts his own team.

Perception v. reality. If you read through the last few pages, what happens is that any action of Lebron is viewed immediately with the presumption towards the narrative that has been built up around him.

Right, but Lebron's percentages in those high pressure situations is roughly equal to his peers.

He obviously shies away when he shouldn't, but in terms of actual performance, it's fine. I don't have a problem with Wade closing games.

A) What's happened to him since the decision can't be overstated. He's like 1-18 in last second shots to win or tie a game, he faded in every fourth quarter of the finals, and he basically has no assertive ability at all in so many games.

He's been more passive, in more late game clutch situations in the last two seasons, then kobe/jordan have been in 16 years. If the dude took the responsibility on himself he should have, instead of giving it up to bosh 3's and chalmers and eddie house and haslem and everyone else, he'd be like 3-35 by now

I love how this doesn't equally apply to you? LEbron shot 4 shots in the last 10 minutes. The plays he wasn't shooting shots, he was standing around. He's made 0 strong defining defensive plays.

No my friend, YOU'RE seeing what you wanna see
