You can shit on the Bobcats all you want, but when they said they were following the OKC Model, they meant it.

2005 Sonics=Playoffs/2010 Bobcats-Playoffs
2006 Sonics=9th Pick/2011 Bobcats=10th Pick
2007 Sonics=Top 3 Pick/2012 Bobcats= (Presumably) Top 3 Pick

All according to Cho. Year 3 of a 5 year plan.

Lakers have at least been getting good looks on offense. That's why they're down only 4.

They need to get the defensive intensity up, though. It's not as bad as last game, but it's not as good as it needs to be.

PnR still a problem.

With this loss we're only a half game over the Sixers, and they have a very easy last few games, albeit on the road. We could still end in 8th, although the Heat are close to the Bulls too, so it's possible the Heat take 1st.

There are positives and negatives to both potential matchups. Bulls are more banged up, plus who knows if Rose will have time to find his rhythm before the playoffs start, at this point. The Bulls bench is also way better than the Heat's, and then there are also questions about their "clutch play" or "mental toughness" or whatever. Plus the Bulls are a relentless rebounding team and the Heat are not. Of course you can't discount Miami's big 3. Soooo I really have no idea what's the better matchup. Even though we're 1-3 vs Chicago and 0-3 vs Miami, I feel like the Bulls games were a lot closer than the Heat games.

Yeah yo. And like just the fact that Derrick Rose will more than likely not play very well makes it a even better match-up than the HEAT for us.

EDIT: Lol Bynum, literally just gave the Spurs the ball.

Now they just have to draft Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden.

Too many 2nd chance points and open jumpers allowed. Why are the bigs getting rebounds and trying to dribble? Also, Kobe has to be more aggressive

Man. Bynum 3 good defensive plays in the quarter that all luckily ended up back in the Spurs hands with the D out of position leading to layups. Difference in the game right now, score wise.

Spurs also on fire from outside. That needs to stop. No one playing much defense so far. Not good for lakers. pace is too quick, too.

Aggressive? The offense has been fine. It's all D right now (everyone at fault). and some bad luck with those actual stops (Bynum block and steal ends in Spurs layup :( )

Dude, he's going to have the "game of his life" against any team that doesn't bother to rotate to him and leaves him WIDE open 17 foot shots.

lol @ Duncan having a career night tonight. Not even close.

Duncan nearly had a quadruple double in the NBA Finals clinching game. His career night ain't happening tonight. He's had so many amazing games, none of which he's capable of now.

So according to you Toronto is following the OKC model since god knows when?

This is a joke. If anyone is following the OKC model its Cleveland, because we have a great general manager in Chris Grant and an owner with some ambition.

They waved off the illegal defense to give the Lakers the 3? :/

Simultaneous. If the player is starting a shooting motion when they call it, they give the team the basket.

Nice try Manu, good no call. And good play by Barnes, there.

What the hell is wrong with Blake? He had a layup and passed it back almost turning it over

He is ALWAYS doing this. Never takes the layup right in front him.

Spurs 4/5 from 3. Another game where the other team going ham at the 3 point line.

Spurs would make this 3/3 in games. I'm going to hope a regression to the mean is coming in the playoffs cuz this seems out of whack.

Horrible transition D there. And come on Ramon, what kind of pass was that? Bench playing better than starters. Time for Pau to come back.
