Then why doesn't he do what it takes to win? He shoots us out of so many games it's not even funny. Never mind the fact that he only gets those 12 boards because he's tall. He forgets to box out way, way too much. He just doesn't get a lot of effort plays.

i still disagree, he might be our only consistent offensive player. He'll usually shoot close to 50% on 15 shots, this isn't some Brandon Jennings situation of shoot out of games-ness. I love Millsap but he is too short too be a truely effective post player.
But when Jefferson is cold, he never stop shooting. He needs to know when to defer to other players. He's old enough to understand how that works.
I'd also like to see Favors and Kanter getting more than 20 combined minutes, especially on nights when Al is garbage bombing.
Harris is BY FAR the bigger issue though, so let's put the Al talk on the back burner. Hearing that Harris is just blatantly running the wrong plays is ridiculous. Last night Corbin had no choice but to play with because of the foul and availability issues, but if he's doing that, it needs to be taken care of.

Kanter just needs to toughen up a bit. He's never played with anybody close to NBA level talent or size. He's gone from completely embarrassing to productive, but he has a lot to learn. Obviously the two years off hurt too. He may prove to be the better pick over time, and I think it's worth gambling on a big who has shown a potential for skillful play.

Surely you understand that his talents are derived from the constitution of both his faith and his ethnicity. As an asian, Jeremy Lin is able to survey the landscape of the court holistically, taking in more of the background and court than would one with a traditional Western culture and genetics. It is what allows him to throw passing balls to his team mates to make goals so easily. In this he has already shown superior to numerous other players, even those earning millions more than him!
Additionally, his faith has provided him the fortitude to continue in spite of all the adversity thrown in his way by those jealous of his abilities.
It is a belief of mine that he will prove to be one of the greatest to play this sports game. He has already broken records that have stood the test of time, and will continue so long as he maintains focused with one eye to the Heavens and one to his lineage.
Bosh, Wade and Lebron are nothing but athletes. They are not as complete and thus can't compete with Jeremy.

He seems like one of those guys who is a good dribbler, but generally only knows how to dribble to create a shot like say a Steve Francis. Not like a Nash or Kidd or Brevin Knight who can dribble all over the court looking for the play to make.
He also appears to have the talent to get a lot better as a point guard but right now he has a bit of a one track mind in terms of "I'm going to setup Greg" (which he is generally one of the better Pistons at doing so) or "I'm going to make a move on this guy and if I have it take the shot" to the point that Stuckey has been the better point guard recently. I like the two together which Frank has found out he is apparently allowed to do. But that still winds up in a bunch of plays where Stuckey is just putting it on the floor and driving because he decided he's going to and Knight pulling up for a jumper because well, everyone else has gotten to shoot so it's his turn.
Yet Will Bynum and Walker D still find their way onto the court. (And Vernon Macklin can't, but Damien Wilkins is also always good for a few minutes.)
