Jimmer can't do his thing when Reke, Salmons, Thornton, and Cousins share visitations rights on the ball
So jimmer is completely useless when he's playing on a team?

6'8 is pretty short but I see what you're getting at. I haven't seen him play reallyHe's 6'8" 260. Nothing tweener about him.

To be fair, scoring PGs generally have been on more contenders than pass-first PGs.
If he didn't want to play for teams that he came up against a lot during the suns best years, in the play offs and regular season rivalries of that era it would only exclude
Lakers
Mavs
Spurs
I don't think there were any true rivalries with Houston, Utah, Denver or Portland.
It really doesn't limit him that much.
What limits him more is that he wants to be a part of the team, and not the 10th man.

He is. He liked NY. He chose NY. He aint gonna play for 2.5 though, so he will get a raise. He played well. YNB like at times, but he actually played decent on D and when he was on, it was a thing to see.

The Bobcats actually made it to the finals in my current season of 2k12 MyPlayer.
This is an interesting debate..
First what would be considered a contender?
Team in Conference Finals.
Also, YNB plays OK on ball defense, but his defensive awareness of where screens and shooters are is so bad that's he's one of the worst defending PGs in the NBA I think.
Of course, he's a much much better player than JR is.

2007 SpursIs it that interesting? a lot of times if you have a score first PG, they're not the best player on the team, and the offense runs through someone else a lot.
For e.g. when the spurs were in their prime, it ran through TD and Ginobli more than TP.
What was the last chip team with a score first PG who was the best or second best player?
2007 Spurs
I understand what you are saying.. and the Lakers/Bulls teams are super prime examples of that
TP was firmly established as a star then, but to say he was the second best player ... eh, i'd still have put ginobli at that spot.
And thats not to discount what TP did in the finals. He was ballin.
I would have to say that the Offense ran through TP at that point..
in half court sets YNB plays well on D.. he was exposed by the spurs a bit.. worst? not even close..
Why are my friends texting me that Ray Allen to the Heat is basically a done deal?
He had plenty of opportunities throughout the season to prove himself with the ball in his hands and failed miserably. Even when he gets the shots he wants he remains inconsistent as hell.
I'll hold my judgment for now, but I don't see Lillard adjusting well, especially if his offensive game doesn't translate and considering that he still hasn't shown any potential of being a facilitator even after 4 years in the college game.
You could argue that, but a lot of those same PGs were more than capable defensively as well.

what
Well then the Heat must have broken all sorts of free agency rules ...
And how do you think we got Lebron?
Under which illegal means will the Heat sign those two players?
Don't think the players have had time to do collusion yet...

Another Olympic games coming up, just in time too!
Reilo - if we get Lillard, who goes 11th? Waiters? Drummond?

I actually wanna see Nash and Dirk give it a second go around.....PnR would be pretty cool with those two
UConn G Jeremy Lamb on UConn C Andre Drummond's NBA potential: "It depends on if he wants to work."

I'd rather see them get Deron.
Drummond is just getting some glowing feedback right now.
Six years later, a new regime has genuine interest in making Roy a permanent fixture in Minnesota.
According to two league sources, the Wolves plan on making the three-time All-Star a two-year contract offer. The money is unknown.
Lamb gives no fucks.
about anything.
Really smart move by Minnesota and that'd be damn cool to see. Either he has some mileage left in that body and Minnesota can build something special or he's done and they continue to suck. Totally worth the risk and definitely a lot better than overpaying Jamal Crawford or whoever else they're looking at.
