You guys like to say how the Knicks are failures, we actually weren't that bad of a franchise until Dolan took control. Our all-time record was over .500, multiple playoff performances, etc. So we didn't win a ring, oh well. Not everyone can win a ring, shown by the fact that 6 teams pretty much have all of the rings in NBA history.
Aside from that, the Nets have ALWAYS been a joke. They will always be a joke. You think some Russian billionaire who only bought the team because he wanted to show off his cool new toy is going to save them? Maybe it's the overrated rapper who is going to have no idea how to run a team? Oh, or maybe it's Billy fucking King. Yeah, that guy is a genius. Ask Sixers fans how great he is, I'm sure they can tell you that you're guaranteed a championship with him running your team
Don't talk about perennial failure when the Nets have a fuckin .400 record over their entire existence and have missed the playoffs more than they've made it.
Nets get some overrated shooting guard and apparently they're the greatest thing ever.

Two finals appearances and even more conference titles are certainly better than nothing. Also knicks are first round exits as well and barely made it to the playoffs the last two seasons.
