maybe I'm huffing the koolaid but I think Denver might be better than the Clipps and Grizz. Iggy will fit in with that team perfectly.

The top 5 in the West is very interesting.

I agree with you on Iggy. But I also feel like a healthy Zbo propels Memphis a bit. And if Odom can come back to 80% Odom, he is a massive upgrade in their frontline for the Clips. And Hill is also an improvement.

I think the 3-4-5-6 spots will be a dogfight. And I think the Spurs could be the 6th seed in all this. Injuries will play a huge part, as always.

I could see Denver-LAC-Mem-SAS in that order 3-6

And Tim Duncan goes out a champ!

Also really the only thing that counts:

I think you guys are overrating the Bulls. They have a starting backcourt of Hinrich and Rip with zero depth behind Noah. And it's the Bulls, you know injuries are going to hit them. I think the Hawks and the Wizards are both better than the Bulls.

When NBA teams starting putting ads on their jerseys I propose that the Magic be sponsored by Morton's.

I agree with the beginning of your post, but you lost me at that last sentence...

I don't know why people make those lists already, you know people will do them until november and it's only august...

Since everyone else is doing it:

East

Heat
Pacers
Celtics
Knicks
Nets
Sixers
Wizards
Cavs

Miami doesn't care about the regular season, but we're in possibly the weakest division in the league now, and are actually deep enough that we should be able to sustain a higher level of consistency.

West

Lakers
Thunder
Spurs
Grizzlies
Nuggs
Clips
Blazers
Jazz

Lakers have the weakest division of the 3 western contenders. OKC can be consistent, but I can see them dropping a few more games than the Lakers. I don't know what the Spurs have left in the tank. If they can sustain their play from last season, then they could just as easily win the conference again. I'm not putting money on that though. PEACE.

What road? They were in the express lane, escorted by the highway patrol all the way to Stern's good graces... err, the championship.

LOL @ this. We had the hardest road of anyone in the East. Or maybe you think Knicks->Pacers->Celtics was easier than Hawks->Sixers for Boston or the Sixers beating the Rose-less Bulls.

I'm sure it wasn't as fearsome as the Lakers having to take down the formidable Jazz and the terrifying Clippers *shudder*. I get chills just thinking about it. PEACE.

lol @ you acting as if having the hardest road in the East is actually impressive...

How do you have the Nyets and the pacers above the Knicks?

Also I think the Bucks make the playoffs this year. They been knocking on the door for a while and I'm not 100% the bulls and/or hawks make it. Shoot depending on how by Bynum recovers the sixes might not make it as well.

When you win the championship, it doesn't matter. Fact is we faced a tougher road than the Lakers, and it only took us 5 games to beat the team that beat them in 5. The road you take usually doesn't matter when you win the ring, but just had to point out how laughable his claim was. Indy and Boston were good teams in the playoffs, and we beat them without Bosh. PEACE.

that's more of a testament on how shitty the east was.
y'all didn't need bosh to beat boston and indy

Congrats on winning the easiest championship in years. You deserved it.

Knicks have incompatible star power, Nets have pieces who style of play compliment one another.

I believe Amare/Melo have an all time Per in the negatives.

How do you not?

Cause I'm not overrating Lopez, I also think Gerald Wallace isn't that nice. They are a Playoff team but not a top 4 playoff team. Deron and Johnson will be great together but I don't think it's enough for a top 4 seed.

As for the pacers they're a playoff team too but I question their back courts ability to pass the damn ball.

Uhm, everyone is doing it so westbrook!

1) Thunder
2) Spurs
3) Clippers
4) Lakers
5) Memphis
6) Mavericks
7) Denver
8) Timberwolves

Durant will continue to improve and have an mvp season. Harden will officially became the number two guy on the team and brook will brook. Lakers will bomb. Unfortunately, I don't see nash going the whole season without an injury unless Mike brown learns how to coach. Oh,btw, Mcgee will became an all-star.

1) Heat
2) Indiana
3) Knicks
4) Celtics
5) 76ers
6) Brooklyn
7) Bulls
8) Atlanta

Celtics will be plagued with injury as usual but awaken in the playoffs. Knicks are the dark horse this season and prob brooklyn.

I still think the crapfest of last year was a combination of a crappy coach and no reliable pass first PG's on the team. I think people are underestimating the moves they made this offseason and Woodson's overall ability.

if you were a member of Lakers-Age, I'd kick my internet foot so far up your ass that your great grandchildren from the future would see it.

I'm really not sure how to feel about the Pacers. They didn't really get better in the off-season and they still don't have an elite player. Roy Hibbert could obviously change that but I don't think he's ever going to be elite to be a go to guy (I recognize they suck at passing into the post but he hasn't shown consistent star production)

Better than Anthony and Halsem right now, though.

I think the point of his post was most Dwight + Pau >>>> Bosh + scrubs. Which is kind of obvious...

You actually don't know Jamison is better than Anthony/Haslem right now (Although that is not very hard to do) He could be a bust on the bench for all you know. Did you see him in Cleveland?

Also, Bosh is going to have to try to contain Dwight and LeBron will basically be forced to move to the 4 a little earlier in his career. I think against the Lakers we would likely roll out a healthy dose Bosh, James, Allen, Wade, Rashard/Chalmers

If Rashard can regain any damn form he would be great as a stretch big against the Lakers. The combo of him and Bosh could pull LA's bigs away. But that would obviously sacrifice defense and rebounding

Not possible. We all saw The Woodson Hawks. Melo is his new Iso Joe. Kidd has less left in the tank than Darkside and Redblaster.

The pass first PG thing is true, Melo ain't having it either way. Lin propelled them into the playoffs and Melo said fuck that shit.

People are underrating the Mavs. They're a deep team that got younger and better.

They added some names but nobody knows how it'll fit. It's a really significantly different roster from last year. They could be good together but I could also see this season being a giant clusterfuck of a mess for them
