The 2nd seed team in the East will barely be a 50 win team. Even Philadelphia could be the 2nd seed, though they're being overrated. Iggy -> Bynum isn't a very big jump.

Watching Bumnum play as a team's #1 option, especially in Philly, will be nothing short of spectacular.

How is Brooklyn winning 50? Outside of Joe Johnson no one on that team plays any D. They'll have to score 110 a night to win games.

Boston was pretty terrible before KG transformed back in a star and I don't know if he can play at that level again. Brooklyn should be able to get the 2nd seed, thinking Bulls and Hawks will battle for the 3rd seed.

Whether the Nets can get a top 4 seed depends on Deron.

If he plays like an elite PG like he was in Utah, sure.

But if he plays like he's been playing the last couple years, including overseas and Olympics, the Nets are doomed.

There's only 2 reasons for his decline: he doesn't give a shit or not being coached by Sloan any more.

I think the Sixers most valuable players are young enough to stay where they are right now.

Neohawks have been pretty irrelevant with the same core for like 5 + playoff runs. Phillies core is young and have a lot of room to grow.

The prospects aren't even there in college basketball right now anyway in terms of franchise changing players. Better to just be a 1st round exit than to literally rebuild the same version of your team like the Cats are doing.

They added some good defenders in Dalembert, Henson, and Pryzbilla. Jennings/Ellis/Mbah a Moute/Ersan/Dally could win 40 games.

Rose won't be back until at least February, if not March.

Monta/Jenning are going to flip out, and it will be glorious.

Rose is a non factor even when he comes back they are going to limit his minutes until March/April. It was rushing him last season that kept getting him re-injured.

They should tank it but reinsdorf wants to at least hope for a miracle since he is paying the luxury tax.

I have to say that it seems everyone has pretty great confidence in KG. The Celtics were bad when he was on the bench or limping last year and he's played in the NBA for 17 years already. Every year that he keeps going at a level where the Celtics can still contend would be an incredible achievement.

People make fun of Wall but shit..he was 16, 8 and 5 in his second season which was a lockout year with our shitstain of a roster and overcoming his rookie year injury woes. Shit...he's got a stronger PER than Iggy, and if you want to talk about FG percentages he shot better than D-Will last year.

He'll be fine this season. He's gotten stronger and tightened up his handle a bit given what I've seen of him this summer. He doesn't even need to become a good shooter to be an effective scorer this year, he just needs to learn how to take advantage of screens better and look to draw contact more than avoid it.

With a healthy front court there's definitely a floor to how bad they can be, probably 30 wins at worst.
