It hasn’t exactly been a secret around the NBA that Lakers head coach Mike Brown has been courting Eddie Jordan to join his staff as an assistant coach. The official hiring of Jordan, who played for the Lakers in 1980-83 and ’84, is expected to occur in the coming days — and Brown will be hiring longtime NBA sage Bernie Bickerstaff, too.

The Lakers are also adding Steve Clifford to their staff. Clifford has been an Orlando Magic assistant — with Dwight Howard — since 2007. Before that, Clifford was with the Rockets and Knicks.

Mike Brown is just a mascot. The real coaching are being done by the assistants.

I've been excited about Eddie Jordan and how the Lakers will look with the Princeton offense.

I disagree. Mike Brown is really terrible.

Anyway the point is Eddie Jordan doesn't sound that bad. He could step right in and take his place too.

I'd probably fire Mike Brown and hire Mike D. With Howard at the 5 your defense can literally only be so bad and Mike D has Kobes respect along with the ability to maximize the PNR onslaught that Nash will inflict on the league.

To be fair to Mike Brown he is a pretty good defensive coach.

What are you talking about? Kobe hates Mike-No-D. And he's an even worse coach than Mike Brown.

I'm here wondering when I am getting my student loan. Today is disbursement day and I have nothing deposited into my checking. Anyone know how this works? I've never received Fin Aid or a Federal Loan. Does it take a few days or what?

If the worst does happen, don't fuck around... reach out to everyone you know and let them know you're looking for a job. Also reach out teh third party companies/vendors that did business with your current company.

Shot in the dark but is it AT&T?

Same thing happened to my mom around the time of the Bellsouth merger( she was originally with bell) They called her back for a third go around and she said fuck off and finished her degree.

Real life sucks.

In super shitty turn of events my mom lost her job and I'll be around for 90 days at the end of whcih I am eligble for a $280 severance package....=l

Thanks for the well wishing, I know I'll be alright, just worried about my parents.

And I've been pulling 10 hours days to finish other people's work who have been laid off and everyone here is too busy crying and shit talking to get me the documents I need. 12 hour saturday and sunday shifts are gonna suck.

Thanks a lot....Obama or whatever.
