Nice of Blake to leave his man wide open in the corner for absolutely no reason.

I thought we got rid of Fisher. We have somebody playing worse than Fisher right now.

Lakers needed a punch in the gut after last game.

It's the playoffs you have to bring it every game or even weaker opponents can beat you.

They should just be glad they had their wake up call here and not against the thunder

This feels like one of those games that should have been A 30 point blowout but the Nuggs went cold and kept us in it. Props to Denver's interior D though. They are outsized but made life miserable for Pau and Drew

Steve blake is even worse than fisher.....................................SHAME WHOEVER SAID WE GET RID OF FISHER, SHAME! What is fisher averaging for okc 10?

Kobe was 7/23 with 6 turnovers. Konex will argue they need to feed him more on offense.

Was a total team shittiness effort, though. Game was lost in the 28-2 run. Can't have that shit, ever. Can't start a game that way.

We're a broken record about Mike Brown. Ebanks gets buried and the Blake gets left out there for mismatches on every defensive possession. So silly, so Mike Brown.

Maybe its the lack of oxygen affecting everyone's brains, especially Mike Brown and the refs. It is crazy though that in back to back games the Lakers have shot less than 25% from the three point line. Of the 19 that they missed I only saw one or two that were contested, sessions, kobe, barnes and blake were bricking wide open threes. Lakers were extremely lucky that the Nuggets decided to be half court playing jump shooters in the 2nd and 3rd quarters otherwise this probably would have been a 25+ point blowout.

If blake had been benched instead of ebanks, we would have won.
Nah, if the Nuggets didn't get a hold of Michael's Secret Stuff in the first quarter we could have won this game.

That first quarter was a grave we couldn't dig our selves out of. Absolutely killed our chances.

Whatever, man. 4 or 5 of those shots were fg% busters at the end of the clock. The turnovers were bad but Kobe wasn't the problem tonight. Poor rebounding and force-feeding Bynum are the reasons we lost

We would wax this team if we went back to the Kobe/Pau PnR with Bynum playing DEFENSE and rebounding. Bynum as a scorer seriously compromises the defense vs. fast-break teams and I don't know how this isn't obvious to everyone by now

If we were going to stick with the corpse that was blake we might as well have kept fisher. Idiotic decisions made by the front office.

He had a position of power within the Lakers, after he was traded it was either bench position or retire.

Who told you that he could not come of the bench. Those are assumptions. If he had a position of power he wouldn't have got his minutes cut and dang well wouldn't have been traded to the houston rockets.

Fish never would have accepted a bench position in the Lakers.

Yeah because he has never done that for the Lakers, am I right?

Anyway, getting rid of Fisher is fine. The problem is playing this bullshit 2 PG lineup. Just split the PG minutes between Sessions and Blake with Blake playing 10 minutes and be done with it. Fuck Mike Brown.

Handle your business first before talking about the 2nd round.
Look, don't get smarmy just because your team got handed the keys to the finals, buddy.

The Nuggets haven't shown that they can genuinely take this series yet. They didn't even have a lead in the playoffs until tonight. Not a single one. And then lost a 24 point edge that nearly cost them a game at home.

Until they take game 4 they're still not a genuine threat to the Lakers.
and don't forget that Charles Barkley is rooting for them

Force-feeding Bynum? He had 3 shots in the 1st half and hardly any touches and the team went down 24...

He was 5/11 total with 2 TOs. Force feeding bullshit.

They lost as a team, tonight. No one played well on both ends. NO ONE.

Blake - 1/4, 3 points 1 TO, -17 in 28 min.

Ebanks - 2/5 for 4 points, 0 TO, +1 in 15 minutes.

LOL MIKE BROWN

Agreed. Then he has this schtick where he always fouls his man when he blows past him to give the and1. If you are going to intentionally foul a person, you dang sure better make him miss. Gosh so much blake rage today. This guy is gonna cost us down the lane.

lmfao@ people who don't think Fisher would have created a power struggle if we kept him.

He would have fought tooth and nail to keep his position. Mitch is a smart fucking man who has known Fisher for years and he knew that.

Too much going into him is why we shot so many late-clock shots IMO. He holds it waaay too long. Get back to Kobe/Pau PnR or go back to LA 2-2.

Oh come on dude... you can't sit here and deny that we went on our best run when Bynum was getting touches in the second half.

Come on now... come on..
