If you replace Wade with 9th year Kobe, The Heat would be defending champs, finishing up a sweep of Indy on the easiest path to the finals, LeBron would have a full head of hair, Spo would be CoTY, Bosh wouldn't be a scapegoat and Miami would have substantially less traffic.

People have forgotten how terrible the Pacers are.

LOL. What does this say about the Heat?

Regular Season:
Heat: 46-20
Pacers: 42-24

Playoffs:
Heat: 5-3
Pacers: 6-2

You're salty that your precious Heat team is getting beat up by the oh so lowly and inferior (and terrible) Pacers. What you're experiencing is the butthurt feeling you have when your tears make it all the way down to your ass crack. Don't worry honey, it will all be over soon.

As a member of Heat-age, you're making me sad, bro. :(

tc farks, who the fuck are you? If you had been present before the Pacers made it to the semifinals, you'd know DY is the furthest thing away from a Heat fan.

The fact that a 16 year vet is being compared to a 9 year guy in his prime speaks volumes of how little Lakers fans know.

Yeah, I agree.

Glad finally someone put that dickbag loser Heat fan DY_nasty in his place

Jason Kidd murdered my dog in cold blood!
There was a point in Mike's career where he stopped relying on being more athletic than everyone else and started playing smarter and better utilizing his skills. Wade is still stuck in 2005.

HOWEVER

As much as I hate to say it, if Bosh was around, it'd be 3-0 Heat.

Yeah, Heat fans like DY need to recognize what's up.

Fuck baby powder, Bron would be launching soul glo into the air.

Do you Lebron, DO YOU!

Dammit, all of this discussion on the Heat is going to make them win.

Let's not waste our chance for the new collapse of the evil Heat Lizard. Be patient; let them destroy themselves!

Yeah, I agree.

I don't post about the NBA besides on a Pacers board. But I got interested and check in here every once in a while. Oops.

Regardless, the comment was directed at the Pacers for being terrible. Which they are unequivocally not.

No.

They're pretty fucking guilty have running the ugliest offense the league has seen in the past 20 years, shitting up the game to destroy any kind of tempo one way or the other, and being hilariously terrible choke artists.

Amen, brother.

Those were some shitty years.

This man knows. It's been a long road. And all the disrespect they get because they lack a superstar makes this all the more sweet.

The way they built this team is up is remarkable. Used mid-round picks, smart trades and fairly priced FA pickups. It was a perfect blueprint of how to build a team without tanking or being lucky enough to be in a big market. Larry Bird deservedly brought home that Executive of the Year trophy.

Perfect blueprint of how to build a team to never win a title.

All 8 Western conference playoff teams would beat the Pacers in a 7 game series. The Rockets probably have a shot too. That's how terrible they are.

We need to put you on a couch and find out what the Pacers did in your past, what the real issue is.

I've got my issues w/ their offense, just as I do w/ a few of the other teams I watch (incl the Heat), but your hyperbole makes me think you're actually Skip Bayless. I dunno how a 5th best in the NBA record is indicative of being "hilariously terrible choke artists," considering they haven't been in the playoffs for a few yrs outside of last year's undeserved seeding (no sub .500 team should make the playoffs), and even then they had a different roster and a then-interim coach.

So, ...expand on that.

Heat will pull through and win the series. This just gives me hope that they won't ultimately win it all.

Either way, I'm a Pacers fan for the rest of the series.

LOL. You're just bad at this.

2011-2012 Offensive Rating (per 100 possessions)

Heat: 106.6
Pacers: 106.7

Please define "hilariously terrible choke artists" and then the proof behind this ridiculous comment. You are referencing the entire season correct? Not 1 series? Or am I giving you too much credit...

Did DY ever say the Heat offense is a thing of beauty? No.

They played significantly better vs Western Conference teams. Better scoring, better rebounding, better defense, 13-5 record. But you're going by your eyes, right? lol

Does anyone say that it's terrible? And has no tempo? And is ugly?

Does it even matter? The Pacers are clearly above average. League Average oRTG: 104.6 Again, Pacers 106.7

People don't know shit about the Pacers and it's obvious. It's what happens when you're a small-market team without a superstar. And people use small samples of watching to judge the team as a whole. It just gets a little annoying when you see so many people being flat out wrong.

Did Rondo and KG die in the last 24 hours or something?

Pacers have a much better chance at getting to the finals than LAL and LAC. Celts still have to beat The Sixers.

Pacers can out ugly The Sixers, and have a chance at a tired old Cs team.

If Heat collpase the Pacers have a legit chance to get swept in the finals.

5th best record in league while in the East - when the East primarily plays itself in a lockout year is nothing to brag about.

My issue is with the actual product on the court. Fuckball.

What about routinely bringing Hibbet 18 feet out to set screens makes sense? Why does Vogel insist on making all of Collison and George's best qualities as players worthless in his system? Why don't they move Danny Granger off-ball as he's still a Carmelo-esque mismatch for most of the league? Why is Barbosa playing dumber now than he has in his entire career? Why do they have some of the shittiest spacing in the entire league even though they have a host of shooters? Why do they top the league in fouls committed and fouls received?

Offensive rating will never explain why this Indiana team has been together for years and the guards still don't know how what to do after a fastbreak layup opportunity suddenly isn't available. They can't do simple shit right. They actively limit their own scoring opportunities many times JUST to fuck up the game. Vogel will sit in a huddle and scream "championship passing!" then sit back and watch as his team can't exploit Roy Hibbet on Glen Davis.

They didn't watch, then they look up how much the leading scorer averages and they say lol, this team sucks, is boring, chokes, cheats, slaps infants and russian roulettes their way to winning 64% of their games.

It's especially entertaining within the media, because so many predicted Heat sweeps because, well, they're the Pacers and they haven't watched them. When the color guys are saying Granger is so good off the dribble, you know they haven't watched a single Pacers game in the past 3 years.

Do you know every Eastern conference team play 12 Western teams once, and 3 Western teams twice? Do you know who the Pacers played twice? Let me tell you: Golden State, Sacramento, New Orleans.

That's right, the 3 worst Western conference teams, and surely they took that 6 games.

I don't think the Utah Jazz would win in a series against the Pacers. I agree that most teams could even the Nuggets would win against the Pacers.

Hey guys I watched a couple game of the Pacers this year playing the very skilled defensively Miami Heat in the playoffs. I mean, they beat them twice already but damn their O is butt ugly derp derp. They're just so terrible and ugly and any other meaningless adjective I can come up with. Every team in the West could beat them. Yes I pulled that out of my ass, and I am horribly wrong, but someone would have to bother responding to my obnoxiousness to prove I'm wrong so I think I'm safe...

Do you recognize being swept in the finals is the best case scenario for Indy?

If you and TC had been around, you'd have seen me shit on the Pacers all season long.

Every game.

They're the only thing I hate more than Lebron's double headband.
