I don't know why everyone is talking about as competing with the spurs. Every 3 point shooting team kills us. Actually scratch that, any team with a shooter guarded by kobe kills us.
If the NBA was the the porn business, Golden State would be a fluffer who finally got promoted to taking it in the ass, while the Lakers would be the producer who has splooged on the faces of thousands of young ladies over the years. You think Golden State getting more camera time means anything to the Lakeshow?

I am so scared of OKC. Artest/Clark can't guard Durant for shit. Kobe has to guard Westbrook all game. Perk is one of the few guys who can guard Dwight straight up. ugh... I just want no part of this team. =/
And when the fuck is Steve Nash getting back? Jesus Christ the injuries this year are the most frustrating thing to deal with bar none.
And don't get it wrong, I don't think we can beat SA in a series, but I do think we can at least make it interesting and make it last 6 or 7 games. OKC? I'll be happy if we get a single W out of that shitstorm of a series.

Spurs are in a weird spot. They probably want to play the Warriors as the 7 but I don't think they can beat OKC without HCA, so they should want the #1 regardless if it means playing Lakers.
Also, Warriors schedule:
OKC, @ LAL (b2b), Spurs, @Portland
They might have to go 3-1 just to hold off the 6 seed. Then again, do the rockets want it if it means playing Denver over the hobbled Spurs? Will be interesting to see what happens.

I'm all for it. Only problem is Mamba won't come out of the game. Lakers need to fire MDA and make Bernie the designated Mamba bencher for in game rests. Kobe and Nash can coach the rest of the team.

It's not like they've bent us over each time they beat us man (unlike the Clippers). SA would beat us in the end, no doubt, but it's not crazy to think it could possibly go to 6. 7 with the blessings of the Basketball gods.
