I think STALKER looks straight up impressive with Complete 09 and PRZ2. For what it is, a low budget game from 6 years ago.
"Didn't age well" doesn't really make much sense to me, right now is probably the best time to play STALKER that there ever has been. Unless you're a purist like roseceadude who doesn't like what the mods have done to the thematic concept of the game, which makes sense. I couldn't disagree with that more, though, I think the game is unplayable by my own standards without mods (and I don't mean just graphics, I mean gameplay mechanics).

I'm with you. The game was magic when I first played it, but I think I've been a bit too spoiled recently. I can't go back and replay that game, as much as I'd like to.

Wasn't using Fraps as I normally use due to sheer lazyness.(used Steams built-in instead) However, to make up for it...have some Bioshock Infinite screenshots. BMPs to be precise.

To get the draw distance of STALKER to go further than 5 feet in front of your face you have to apply a special fan-made patch.
I fixed it with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiS3fgqu0Po (Download link and directions are in the guy's video description). I found the '201' value to be the best in terms of performance to visuals.
EDIT: Problem with BMPs is that they're 6MB each. Use FastStone Image Viewer (free) or Photoshop (more expensive than a car, but there are decent free versions) to make compressed PNGs at ~3MB each with the same image quality.

Just straight up delete them, please. It's really a no compromise sort of deal, those just do not belong in this thread at all. We're talking about screenshots of the last 15 minutes of one of the biggest games with one of the biggest plot twists of the year. Nobody wants to see that.

Never understood why anyone has to post screenshots of Bioshock Infinite's end-game anyways. The game is full of awesome moments to post screens of. I'd say the final moments are the least bit impressive, visually.

So people that consider them spoilers, are you actually playing Bioshock infinite right now or not ? Because honestly, I played Bioshock 1 and I didn't play Infinite and I seriously couldn't care less to see the shots that this guy posted. I just don't know the context of them.

Hokay so Infinite is a game made about 3x more enjoyable JUST because of the story. And they happened to shove about 80% of the story's WOW moments in the final segment. And in that final segment, there's a reveal that's pretty darn incredible if you've happened to play Bioshock 1. Having not played both games, you wouldn't really be able to appreciate it.
I'd feel a bit robbed of the same revelation having seen images before experiencing the ending. Even out of context.
Now I don't know how serious of an issue this is for people. Probably isn't THAT big of a deal. But the thing is... there's no real justification for posting screenshots of the ending. Unless you're posting in a thread called "Bioshock Infinite - THE ENDING DISCUSSION." Just avoid doing it and everyone will be happy.

Finished Metro (finally). The final moments felt a bit rushed. Didn't really feel like the climax the game was building up to. But overall still one of the best games I've played this year.

Something's very wrong with this screenshot. It looks like an ape with a broken wrist trying to write with a pencil. Hands like these have no place in gaming in 2013.
None of the animations or characters have in place in modern gaming. The game is beautiful but the characters constantly yank me out of the immersion, they are so god-awful.
With a balaclava however, they do look better.

Yeah. I posted that specifically to point out how weird he looked, but i didn't make mention of it. His skin also looks like it's plastic. Or leather. Can't put my finger on it.
All in all, yeah, very beautiful game. Just seemed like they got a little bit crazy with the specular paint brush at times.

A lot of the character models are comically bad in the Metro games, but it's the moments like the one above that make the series so special and visually stunning.
And yeah, I really hope they make another of these games.

How do you downsample Riddick? It only lets me select 1080P as highest resolution :/

I just used an Nvidia custom resolution 2160p at 56Hz and it is available in the menu.Some other games don't show it but it is available after i changed some EDID parameters.Maybe try and set your desktop resolution at 2160p and then launch the game?

I'm actually ridiculously excited for the new Call of Juarez, $15 budget title be damned. I loved Bound in Blood when I played it years ago.
EDIT: Fuck, first post and I don't have any screenshots. I'll edit some in later... I have this one from Fable III! EDIT #2: And a random one from my RE6 goings that I haven't put here yet.

The PC version came free for pre-ordering CoJ: Gunslinger and I have it installed right now. Might boot it up later tonight.
