Crysis 3: +1 for a GTX690 (quad) owner has been thoroughly enjoying downsampling the shit out of everything and has suddenly hit a VRAM wall. Damn you misleading 4GB advertising. Also, took me the best part of two nights to get the SLI working and now I'm getting 100FPS+ maxed out but not my beautiful downsampling.
Also, been thinking about Nvidia shield; for shits and giggles, load this thread up in your nearest smartphone and check out these screenshots on tiny pixel density. Nice.

I'd say BF3 still holds it's own in the graphics department, but Crysis 3 is stunning. Especially in motion.

I wasn't really that impressed by it really, BF3 definitely looks better to my eyes. Then again maybe its all the lens flare blinding me gradually.

Teehee. Now if only I could get the fonts to play well with AA =/, or be able to downsample without the game shitting itself. Having to choose between a mess of garbled text all over the HUD or jaggies is very sad.

Yes, for the first two swamp shots, CG is on. for the rest it is off. You can really tell the difference side by side. (Purple)
I like all of the possible effects if either used to express something or used in enough moderation that I can't tell it's there without asking or looking for it.

Okay, Fireplace story time.
Spent the last hour trying to fist fight my PC. After witnessing this amazing scen in DmC, I decided to Fraps a video to go along with it, and show off how amazing the positioning and story-telling are in this game. So I do this. When I put the video into Premiere, theres no audio. I play the file with MPC, and there's no audio or video... I play the file with WMP and there's REALLY Glitched video and no audio. I decide to try some other videos I know work, and they all have various problems. Restart computer, no fix. Googled for the answer but how do I google for that? I'm getting nowhere when I realized that I didn't select DmC when using Inpector to force AA and AO... Well...
Then I still have no audio. I go back and record again. Intro videos have sound, but the game's sound won't record after that... Google provides no answer. I download and install DXtory and the lagarith codec or w/e and try that. 12FPS. Pause the game. 12FPS. So I decide not to record at all and screw you if you want to know how amazing this scene is.

Okay! I finally got it! I had to change my default audio device and make Fraps record from that, so I couldn't hear it, but it got done.
