I really need a Nvidia card now, I want to play pCARS but since pretty much all sorts of AA/downsampling seems completely broken with my 6950 (that and crappy performance) I just can't bring myself to play it.

I was about to help you out with the install problems, but I see you got it all working. In general account sharing is not seen as evil (as only one can play at the same time), account selling however is a no.

You seem to be in the clear, but some people might complain about your image sizes for a bit. not much as long as it's obvious you're downsampling.

And as a standard, I try to keep the image at LEAST 720p, but you should aim for higher. I aim for 1600x900 or higher.

1920x1080 lol. I was kinda thinking, wut, but I just put together my first PC (largely thanks to this thread) so I don't really know what I'm doing. I'll give it another try when I find something worthy. I did find another good opportunity for a screenshot in DS3 but I don't know if it's a spoiler, so I'll err on the side of caution.

For downsampling, you should use a resolution higher than 1080p.

So I have slightly solved a bit of my memory issue by bumping up the VRAM clock and power target. Things are smoother, and the vram wall is less frequent. I'm constantly flirting with the limit in games like FC3 with 4k and 4xMSAA. Mostly I still feel silly.

Wrong way? There is a way? I've been driving all over the place taking random screens, don't think I've even finished a single race yet. I can't, it's just that good looking ;P

Aye I fixed it by redownloading it again, which albeit took a long damn time solved my problems in the end. Yeah I removed his name just in case, the person in question appeared as he didn't have any interest in playing the game which is why I happily obliged and took it off his hands... for a while. ♥♥♥ to him.

The performance is ""good"" for the settings I'm using which are max settings, 4k and 4xMSAA. Depending on the time of day, track and weather it'll be as bad as 20 fps otherwise it's around ~30. Keep in mind that that's only on practice runs as well so no opponents. OCed 670.
