If TR isn't compatible with SGSSAA, then it must have just been the 4x Multisampling that I was injecting, as well. Either way, the injected AA looked substantially better than the in-game FXAA considering that the in-game MSAA was unusable with TressFX enabled.
In the end, I got it to run at 60fps, with TressFX on, and a respectable level of AA, so I was more than happy.
