Nice shots. Too bad about that aliasing in the reflection. Actually, is there a specific reason as to why reflection don't receive anti-aliasing? It seems to happen a lot with different game engines from what I can remember. Would injected FXAA or SMAA get rid of that?

I was playing at a resolution of 2160p, with SGSSAA, and FXAA. That aliasing isn't due to anything other than the limitations of the engine. The shader that was used is limited this way, I believe. There are other areas of the game with better reflections that are perfectly anti-aliased along with the rest of the image, but I don't believe it's something that can be applied to the water, without looking off. This is the same with the monitors.

Looks like it's a simple fence we cannot jump with the current iteration of the engine. Then again, FAKEFACTORY just switched to the newest version of Source/Pipeline, so this may have opened up some opportunities, but I doubt it.
 
Stein! I appreciate that you're one of the few folks I've seen capturing screenshots of Crysis 1 outside the jungle stages. That flying alien looks so fucking good.

On the contrary, the planes in the last screenshot look awful. The girl looks good though. Janky arm textures. Weird fingers. Ok, her face looks good.

Thanks James :) .I have a few alien-marine shots on the ice levels but i don't like the composition ,i'm trying again and again to capture some good action shot but this happens once in a miillion times...but i won't give up :P

Yeah the last shot is kind of mixed, i fired the gun to create the sparkles to hide the planes a bit and i didn't noticed the girl awful/award hands ,maybe because i always look at her face first
 
Dead Island without bloom or postprocessing. Does anyone know how to get downsampling to work in this game?

It's the same engine as gunslinger. Should work fine by forcing your resolution in the video.scr file.

There should also be a dev menu unlocker somewhere in the wild for that one.

I tried changing the resolution in the video.scr file but couldn't get it to stay even when I changed it to read only : / I'll look for the dev menu unlocker though.
