2013 High-Res PC Screenshot Thread of Let the JPEG Die Already

Lime hooked me up with potentially better N7 armor than this. Gonna try that today :)

Decided to look into Texplorer as a way to permanently replace textures in ME3 (as opposed to using Texmod). It takes some setting up. Gotta find compatible texture files, and the program takes a while to install the actual mods. But it should make thee game a lot less annoying to play.

Hmmmm. NOPE.

3 hours later... just stick with texmod. Ugh.

I wanted to do a comparison shot of the actor shadows, skin subsurface scattering, and specularity in Skyrim with ENB and without it, but I couldn't look at the vanilla game long enough to hit the screenshot button. So sorry.

That ENB looks mighty nice, where'd you get it? I tried googling it couldn't find it. Also what face mod is that? Cheers!

Thank you for highlighting the illustrations in Prison Architect. I hadn't seen anything of the game that really compelled me to pick it up, outside of the faux pas subject matter. Those illustrations are fantastic, and really help give the game more of a unique style. (this stuff probably affects me more than most since I'm an illustrator/designer myself) It's too bad the mugshots don't carry that same style.

Glad you like it, because it's my personal ENB and I haven't released it. I've been tinkering away at it since december 2011, ha ha!

The skin is by the inimitable Maevan. Get it on the Nexus.

This shot is using lumasharpen, DOF sharpening in the prepass shader, temporal antialiasing, high quality SMAA, chained FXAA post-sharpening, and Lanczos3 downsampling to achieve a crisp look (while still using a depth of field effect). I'm just loving how all the hard work of various coders comes together perfecly to create a crisp shot that vanilla Skyrim can only envy.

ENBoost seems to have fixed my crashing issues. still runs at sub 30 FPS though.

Yeah, but you can theoretically (and in my case in practice) load up a lot more high resolution mods without slowing down your game too much because the memory usage is nothing like what vanilla Skyrim offers. You can use so much more RAM now.

That won't last, right?

Testing some sharpening methods in combination. Tell me if this looks oversharpened (you highly critical image enthusiasts especially).
