Those 11 games were epic.
As a Duke fan, I love Kyrie. What was great was while he was sitting out, he was still on the bench, and not only that, but he was the biggest cheerleader that year. First guy off the bench congratulating people, celebrating other people's awesome plays. Nobody would have grumbled much if he mentally checked out, that's just sort of the nature of the beast in this one-and-done era. But he was still the consummate teammate while he was injured. Then he came back for NCAA tournament to try to give it one last run that just didn't work out (but his play was stellar even then).
It's not even close.

That sf was off for a half and ended up one assist from another triple double. So unless playing awful defense on a rookie and shooting pretty well in one game is the new metric for outplaying someone at your position, y'all should take that future first round sweep of a team back to your log cabins, sit on some bison, and think about how badly you played tonight instead of looking for ways to ride Tayshaun French's coat tails all the way to the moral victory parade.
Meanwhile I'm gonna go celebrate this mid season championship with a vegan steak and a pop rock flavored beer.

I've yet to see any real reason why the C's are worse without Rondo this year. They just had their highest assist total of the year the other night. Green, Bradley, Barbosa, and Jet all look more confident getting more touches.
Other NBA fans wished this day wouldn't come. We Knicks fans knew what the team would do this year though.

Now, now, don't do that. My statement isn't wrong. People all over swore the Knicks would suck. They don't. The only ones that believed in them are Knicks fans.
After everything we have been through with this team, just being competitive is nice. I wasn't sold at all based on the roster composition last preseason and still have reservations about how this team will perform after a full season based on injury history and age.
Again, them winning more often than losing is a real pleasant feeling. I'll take it.

Where is that post from you saying they would be on pace to win 55 games? Because I doubt it exists.
Before the season I said the Knicks would win 50+ games and finish in the top 3 of the east. I also said that when Amare returned he wouldn't bitch and was willing to come off the bench. These dudes will tell you since they were trolling the Knicks hard in the off season, saying the Nets were better and that the Knicks would struggle to get the 8th seed. Hell, they were trolling the the Knicks started the season 8 and 0 saying knicks fans should wait before getting happy.
I'm the last guy you should be calling out in regards to my Knicks love. I've believed in this roster from the time we signed Donnie Walsh and I've been trolled hard ever since then.

It's just empty words, eventually it's bound to happen. I know plenty of Knicks fans who thought Marbury and Curry would get the Knicks the 4th seed at least. It's not about being realistic for them, it's called trying to enjoy the ride. Which is fine when you're not delusional. But don't act like it's all about keeping it real or whatever, like some know what's happening. I was surprised by their results this season, everyone really is in truth, I do not enjoy it less...

'Antoni was the main problem with his inability to take advantage of the team's strength. Dude was so stubburn that he didn't play other guys until his job was on the line and the players started asking him to give other guys a look. Even then he didn't want to adjust his pg oriented system. Woodson stepped in and saved the Knicks past the midway point of the season. And it wasn't a fluke as the team has only gotten better this season.
