I seriously have a hard time believing it'll look and play that great but they've got such a strong precedent in place with Xenoblade Chronicles living and surpassing expectations.

Just called X for the time being, and it's from the guys that made Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade.

There's really nothing about what we've seen that is unbelievable on the WiiU.
Monolith just happens to be the first devs to really open the system up for a giant game like this.
They really need to detail the online modes though.

PC-only is the reason to be hyped for it...

The primary reason that style of RPG died out was due to a shift of focus into console development. If Pillars of Eternity was also coming to consoles, it would be a different game.
