2015 NBA PLAYOFFS |OT| One man's Smith.. Is another man's treasure.

Both sides of fandom are convinced they've already won it.

I'm convinced Cleveland can actually make it a series (and maybe win it if they're very lucky) but picked Golden State in 6, and the worst I've seen from Cavs-GAF has been "Cleveland in 6" with a bunch of hedges.

So basically you don't have anything to refute what i've said. i mean GSW is easy to prove #1 Def ranking, DPoY and a second team selection.

Cavs, everyone and their brother has been talking about what a defensive weak team they are.

GSW scores an average of 110 points a game and their opponents only 99. I mean this game/series on tonight is great but they still have to beat a freaking juggernaut and no one in here can seem to even talk about it other than saying they will win because of Lebron and reasons.

Everyone and their brother has been talking about how defensively weak they were based on regular-season statistics including half a season of Dion Waiters and starting such powerhouse players as a 36 year old Mike Miller.

Meanwhile they have the best net rating in the playoffs (by 2 points) and that's only gotten better with the Shumpert-Dellavedova backcourt starting, and somehow none of that registers until someone else tells you about it - much like how 90% of the bullshit being repeated ad nauseam about Kevin Love this season magically stopped as soon as I posted one piece by Cavs the Blog

Yeah, both sides are really annoying.

TT!

One side has better reason to be convinced they've already won. The Warriors are one of the best teams in past 15 years based on stats. The Cavs are merely a good team steamrolling through an extremely weak conference. There is no reason to believe the Warriors won't sweep the Cavs.

Well I mean the Rox did just score 45 points on them in a quarter last night :p

Lebron reasons is the new Basketball reasons.

Because it's all over the place. Cavs are in the middle of blowing out the #1 seed in a sweep and no one in here is talking about it. It's just a bunch of "well, golden state will (fill in the blank) . It gets old.

Because the #1 seed is missing their best defender, their all-star 3 point specialist and Horford is hurt. You don't really get props for that.

It's delusional for anyone to think that a team led by a top 5 player of all time can't grab a game or two in the finals.

Both fanbases have one troll who curiously just started supporting the team sometime in the last month who I'm not including.
Yeah, I'm actually not sure who is a fan of Golden State and who considers their life work to be shitting on Lebron. I think I'll stay off GAF during games in the future.

ONE MORE QUARTER UNTIL HISTORY IS MADE!!! One finals victory erases any haters claiming Lebron needed two all-stars to reach the NBA finals. Kyrie injury prone as shit and KLove out for the playoffs. That leaves JR, Shump wit the pump, Mozgov, Delly, the ghosts of Mike Miller and James Jones to help the king.

CavsGAF, how are we celebrating? Run the point night at the Q on Monday is an option. The Hawks can make this a game in the quarter of play so I'll respect them. Any talk of who can win a finals matchup between the Warriors and Cavs is disrespect to both Rockets and Hawks.

Who are the Golden State Warriors fans? I'm not talking about bandwagon fans but real actual fans that rooted for the team before last season.

I hope Cleveland wins just so it takes them off the "haven't won a championship in <x> years" list so Buffalo can move up on the list and come due quicker.

@LeBatardShow we swept the team with best record in EAST without Love and basically Kyrie and you think we're underdogs.

amusing to say the least

Warriors in 4

What are the odds of the Cavs resigning him? Do you think if Miami were to make him a good offer, Dan Gilbert will match it just to spite the Heat?

Shump did make this right before the playoffs. So, he does seem real tight with the group and the Cavs obviously like his talents. Of course, if it comes down to pinching dimes if we bring back Love and give TT the huge contract, who knows what might happen.

Gilbert as said he'll go into the tax, but the question is how much?
