Malkin clearly wasn't himself in this series, which, removing myself from generally wanting the Penguins to all go fuck themselves, is kind of a bummer for the series. I genuinely like Malkin when he's not dicking us over.
GG Pens. The team was battered and depleted and missing so many key parts (and the ones that were there were largely only in name only), but they still fought hard, played a tight game, and frequently dictated the pace of the series. Four 2-1 wins to take a series is ridiculous.
Meanwhile, go beat the shit out of each other, Caps and Isles!
