RB1/2 = D Martin J Stewart
WR1/2 = A Brown D Baldwin
FLEX 1/2 = A Hurns M Sanu

Bench

Not sure what to do with both my flex's right now, as I'm hooped with options on the bench at RB. I like Hurns TD potential, and Sanu could look good as well with Julio drawing the double team. Matt Jones seems like a wildcard though considering his shoulder and the fact that its Washington.

Would anyone line it up differently?
I'd seriously consider putting Jones in over Sanu (especially in Standard), but that's just me. I haven't seen enough of Sanu in his new role to have much faith, and Jones is at least the first option at the moment

So my co-manager (the team owner and the only one Yahoo will let draft) forgot about the fucking draft last night and didn't show up until rd4.

Beckham
Evans
Watkins

Needless to say our RB corps is thin.

Do I start JStew tonight against a brutal Denver D,or Sproles in his supposed new "Woodhead role"

.5 ppr.

In a 0.5ppr I would be very happy with that start. And I would go Stewart. 40yds and a TD is very possible, while you would be hoping Sproles could make 5 catches for 60 yards.

Don't even think it's an option: start J-Stew while making the RB section of waiver wire your browser home page

Do I start Kelvin Benjamin (vs Denver), Jordan Matthews(vs Browns), Ameer Abdullah(vs Indy) or Sterling Sheperd (vs Dallas)? Not a PPR league.

I have Kelvin slotted in there right now but its a scary match up and he's on a snap count. The other options all have bigger question marks about their usage/viability.

Marshawn Lynch thinking of returning to football. Look for him week 4 or 5. Would cite source but I'm on mobile, heard it during the Carolina vs Denver pre game.

So I sat Cam for Matt Ryan...should I be worried now? Lol

I also sat J Stewart. (Not a panthers fan; just wound up with both of them - hopefully it's a good year for the team)

Matt Ryan puts up decent numbers and he's playing Philly, Cam is playing Denver, you made the correct choice, even if it doesn't show up on the scoreboard.
Kelvin hit projections in my PPR league. Should have played him lol.
I regret not starting him too... I literally almost put him into my flex right before kick

And FFS my opponent has the Carolina defense

I have Panther D luckily. At least we know Kelvin will be a target for future reference.

Thanks! I now feel better...plus if Cam does good tonight I'll have more to look forward to this season because I don't really trust Matt Ryan once the season gets going. I just needed a 2nd QB.

Looks like a solid team. I'd go CJ Anderson over Blount. Also, see if you can pick up CJ's handcuff, Devontae Booker. He might just be sitting on the waiver wire. He could be really valuable this year, especially if CJ struggles or gets hurt.

Devante Parker may be a bust. He's constantly injured. When healthy, the guy is really good though. Dorsett should hopefully have a great year with a healthy Luck and no Andre Johnson.

Thank goodness I took your good advice Hazelhurst. CJ blew up tonight

Kelvin with 18 points in my .5 PPR

Pretty clear he's going to be heavily involved with the Panther offense this year. Anyone who picked him up as a WR3 should be very happy.

I drafted him as my WR3 in the 5th so I'm pretty happy with his results tonight and feel confident about his role in the offense going forward.

I got him as my 4th WR, but saw that he got 12 targets this week, so he's gonna be replacing Maclin in my flex sport next week

So my RBs include Doug Martin, Thomas Rawls, and Arian Foster.

Should I drop Rawls and pick up Charcandarick West, Shane Vereen, or even Christine Michael?

Should I keep Arian Foster? Maybe take West, or Vereen and give up Foster?

its too early in the year to even have an idea right now if they would be any better
Then you're loaded at WR, well done.

It won't happen every week but that fact he got 3 more targets than Greg Olsen is very encouraging

I guess I should post my team...
12 team .5 ppr
QB- Winston
RB1-Lamar Miller
RB2-Melvin Gordon
WR1-DeAndre Hopkins
WR2-Keenan Allen
TE-Eric Ebron
Flex-Jeremy Maclin

Bench-
Kelvin
Jimmy Graham
Ivory
Sproles
Funchess
Carson Wentz
Allan Hurns

loaded at WR, kinda thin at RB after my RB1

picked last in my draft btw

Having Olsen on my team made me feel a bit better that I benched Kelvin. Thought Olsen would have got a TD, but 7 catches and 70+ yards in PPR is a solid enough performance.

Playing a guy this week who decided to bench CJ and Kelvin...thanks worst owner in the league.
They both had bad match ups based on last season, both were unknowns coming into the season.

He made a logical choice, but that's fantasy...

definitely michael imo

the cardinals aren't going to have any real incentive to air it out with brady (and possibly gronkowski) out of the mix, and it's hard to predict who will be targeted if they do

just realized that they're both named michael lol, leaning toward christine michael

just a little worried about how many carries he'll split with rawls

Feeling pretty good about getting C.J. Anderson in the 2nd of my 14 team league now. That offensive line looked pretty good. I did bench Benjamin based on the matchup and snap count but that's a nice sign going forward. Also I may have let the fact that I named my team Sanu Jack City cloud my judgement.

Does anybody play in an elimination pool? I need a lock of the week. fyi, team doesn't need to cover the spread, just win.

Seattle does seem obvious, but they are a pretty safe pick straight up (although I don't think they'll cover that spread).

I'm personally leaning KC as I want to save Seattle for their week 3 match up against SF.

Another popular one is Houston over the Bears, but I'm staying away from that. Right now ~70% of the public is betting on Houston to cover and the line isn't changing at all, meaning that the sportsbook in Vegas think the Bears are going to cover/win, and I trust Vegas over the public in situations like this. There's a reason they make money.

Same thing with Green Bay and Colts..Jags a home dog, public piling on Green Bay, and the line not moving much. Trap Game . Colts I just don't think are that good.

And there was talk of Benjamin being on a limited snap count. Sitting those guys depends more on team depth/league size. If it was a deep league and he sat them then he went potato. Like in a 14 team league I am in someone sat Benjamin for Wheaton.

He started Ryan Matthews and Latavius Murray instead of CJ. Not trying to play Monday morning QB, but CJ is his best back for sure.
