He's the very definition of a boom-or-bust player. If you don't want that level of volatility in your lineup, you need to suss that out quickly and sell them high after their first big game. Marques Colston was the definition of this for a number of seasons.

Who do you guys think would be a better pick up this week? Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota? I gave up on Eli this week and picked up Bortles and that didn't work out so well. I didn't expect to use Bortles for rest of the season as they play Seattle and then Minnesota right after around week 13 or so.

Winston has a good matchup schedule ROS (outside of Sea in week 12) but Mariota has been on fire lately...

Mariota has the better short-term upside. If you plan to stream QBs by schedule, run with him during the friendly part of his schedule.
Winston has the better long-term upside... including a rather nice fantasy playoff schedule where he has two shootout dates against the Saints.
If you desperately need wins now? Go with Mariota.
If you have a winning record and want QB depth for your fantasy playoff run? Go with Winston.

You should try and get Jameis.. outside of Cam.. you don't have a whole lot.. you should try and shop Cam for RB help?
You don't have a lot of options to try and get some value. Shop Pryor maybe to get some help that way if you want some relief?

I'll have to try and see if I can get both Mariota and Winston this week(and drop Bortles.) Will have to figure out how to clean up my bench i'll most likely have to drop either Morris or Henry to pick them both up. I really have no idea what the hell im doing (first year playing fantasy) and i'll be somehow 4-2.
The worst part though in the last 3 weeks before the playoffs, I have to play again the people who have I think the best overall rosters again, ugh.

Good luck. Top tier QB's aren't worth as much as you think, since you can pick up streaming QB's with no issue. You can use this as a gauge if you want

Looks like i'm dumping most of my bench this week due to injuries. Kind of hate giving up the lottery tickets (Morris and Henry) but looks like I pretty much have to unless I just want to just take the automatic loss. Might end up dropping Dion Lewis too since he probably won't be playing for a couple of weeks.
I'll probably reevaluate once waiver's clear Wednesday and try to drop them last (Henry>Morris>Lewis) in terms of priority.

Doesn't mean anything for the Packers as McCarthy doesn't run the football (as Lacy's stats can attest to). I'd go with Booker as it seems he's splitting carries 50/50 with CJ.

Lacy's 99% sure not playing due to an ankle sprain, Hyde has his arm in a sling and Jordan Matthews has knee tendinitis (not that I would have played him against the vikings this week)
Guess i'll have to play Rashad Jennings as my RB2 unless something pops up on waivers, joy.

No, Murray is the #1 back and you aren't improving your team with that trade. Those WRs are good, yes, but Coleman isn't consistent.

Right now? No. Wilson is being regularly outplayed by Brian Hoyer. But...this time last season Wilson had exactly the same QB fantasy ranking, and then he went on to blow up the league with big games. So there's hope.

He has injuries on both legs. That is a significant part of his fantasy value.
I was able to squeak out 2 wins I have been decimated by injuries. In one league I lost Watkins, Moncrief, and Decker. and I start 3 WRs in that one. Thankfully I have Crabtree and was able to trade for Benjamin.
they've both got good match ups tbh, can't go wrong

It's only one game, man. Start him as a low end WR1, temper expectations and move on to the rest of your lineup. Don't do anything crazy like bench him unless you're insanely deep at WR

What??? Look up the recovery for that kind of surgery. Most people are running around like new training and all that after around 10 days. And they have a bye after this week. Ben will be perfectly fine by the time they come out of their bye. And it's not like his conditioning is gonna be an issue coming back from the surgery, which is usually why initial timetables are never right...

Is Jay Ajayi worth burning the #1 waiver pick on? Would you drop Doriel Green-Beckham, Devonte Booker or DeAndre Washington for him, leaning towards DGB? My other RB's are Riddick, Howard and Gio in PPR. Team has been ravaged by injuries but still have a winning record thanks to some lucky match ups.

Just checked the last four updates on him on Rotoworld, and all four suggests there's a decent chance he comes back after the bye week (week 9). If not, definitely afterwards. I haven't seen one source that hasn't said he's probable for week 9

I understand the desire to balance out your WRs and RBs but don't trade away value to do it. Especially after the game Matt Jones just had, your lineup doesn't look bad.

I like Montgomery this week due to volume but otherwise I would mortgage everything in the Packers offense and sell high on whatever you have left because it's become a dumpster fire and with their upcoming schedule it's not going to get any better.
