Kinda annoyed that I won't be able to watch this live with my girlfriend, since she is still catching up to the old seasons... Currently on season 5. We watch like 4 episodes a week.

Oh well, at least i can record the episodes and watch them during the summer once we're done with season 8.

Ok I think I'm done checking the 24spoilers.com site... there are already some plot details about Chloe that I didn't want to know :/

The clue is in the name there

Haha yeah, going to a site with that name I should know what to expect... but the only news so far have been either casting news or little details about the plot that I don't mind knowing about, so this one caught me a bit off guard

I would rather have not known it beforehand and be surprised when I watch the series, since I don't think it's the kind of thing they would reveal in an official trailer or preview

...but who am I kidding, I'll probably end up clicking on all the black bars in this thread because I'm weak :(

So they filmed something special for the Superbowl outside of the main series? Its obviously not going to be a little 15 second commercial if it was specially filmed. I can't imagine how much that much cost.

Sorry about the double post but something just hit me...

If someone had told me back when 24 ended in 2010 that not only would it return, and not only that it would be set in London, but also that Stephen Fry would be the fucking Prime Minister....

....I don't have a clue what I would have thought. Probably would have laughed. A lot.

This is fucking surreal.

What they were filming last Sunday was promo material.

Yeah I know, and I'm saying if they went out of their way to film a special promo, it's not just going to be a 15 second commercial. They wouldn't go out of their way for a day just to film 15 seconds.

In addition to that, knowing how during the Superbowl a 30 second ad is millions and millions of dollars, I can't imagine how much they must have spent to get this promo on the air.

Nah, the promo is part of a larger piece afaik. Same as what they did with S4,5 and 6

Of course they will use footage from it for the Superbowels commercial though.

Edit: lol, that's a nice typo there. Thanks, mobile spellchecker.

Technically it isn't set in London. He'll be there briefly and fly back to the states to CA again.

I really hope that badass Jack doesn't become near insane Jack like at the end of Season 8, that was just nonsensical considering what he did to stop crazy stuff from happening all the time and he was about to instigate the same thing he was protecting people from; all over a very contrived relationship from the previous season with FBI agent Renee Walker. I enjoyed the seasons to the end, but it was a very awkward character moment for Jack on the writers part, but thank god for Chloe to get him back to his senses at least.

aw yeah

confirmation that the ENTIRE season is set in London - and yes, the USA President is in London too - William Devane (James Heller) will be in scenes with Stephen Fry (there is a summit in London during the events of the season). Should be awesome!

David Fury @TheDavidFury

“@BryanOringher: is the plan for multiple seasons of LAD? If ratings are up. Different subtitle. How much of this season is in London?” All.

Looks like Fox has finally updated 24's website: http://www.fox.com/24-live-another-day/. This is probably in anticipation for the trailer on Sunday during the Super Bowl.

I wonder why it says it starts Monday, May 5th at 9 EST? It's supposed to be 8-10 P.M. EST for the first week.

Wait Audrey is back too? Hmm.. That could be pretty cool.

Also - the scene in season 3 [?] where Jack tortures Audrey's ex husband is freaking amazing.
