24 on his best moments jesus nothing came close to it, had some weak seasons but even those are high octane action and intense(except season 6 just skip it you won't miss much). Season 1,2,5 and 7 are god tier some of the best things tv have ever produced, highly entertaining, intense, full of twist, some of them totally unexpected

Season 1 is a slow burner, just in the end pickup pace, is more of a thoughtful thriller, by season 2 things change and you understand why, season 2 is much much more intense and action heavy.

Season 1 turned me off on the series for the longest time, it's profoundly boring and filled with stupid characters.
At some point I decided to skip 1 and just start with season 2. Best tv-series decision ever, I never looked back.

It's not boring at all, in many ways is amazing, much more plot driven and build up much better the action scenes, in later seasons some of the action scenes just feel forced.

I will have to rewatch the finale. Trying to think of who actually knew of Jack's intentions other than Chloe and Logan.
Boy I hope we find out what the world did to Suvarov. World Court trial?
probably a second cold war, and for them to speak about a potential world war in the trailer, I guess things with Russia are tense on the show and they are behind the threat, much like real life

Agreed, especially watching it live week-to-week. Stunningly groundbreaking television. Baffles me that anyone could think it's anything other than the strongest of the show's run; it's the most personal story and the one that laid the entire foundation for what was to come.
Just found out IDW is doing a comic book that's going to tell what happened to Jack between Day 8 and Live Another Day:
Ahead of the return of Jack Bauer to TV screens in "24: Live Another Day" in May, IDW Publishing will release a new comic book series that will fill in the several year gap between the eighth season finale and the upcoming event series.
When we last saw Bauer he was fleeing the country, and writer Ed Brisson with artist Michael Gaydos look at the impact that has on both Bauer himself and those around him.
"24: Underground" will be released in comic book stores and digitally in April, while "24: Live Another Day" kicks off May 5th on Fox.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
It doesn't bother me that much, but it is kind of silly. Just doesn't seem very believable given the character (yeah, yeah, I know, it's 24...); as if they're trying a bit too hard to give her an edge or something.

Why on earth do they always think Bauer is a threat and keep getting in his way? The man has personally saved the country from all sorts of perils on multiple occasions. They should be holding parades everytime he shows up.

I think most of the things he did isn't in official records. Plus he really did go wild in S8. I mean, past achievements are fine and all, but look what trust like this resulted in with Tony.
