37 Minute Direct Feed Cyberpunk 2077 footage from Switch 2

What is funny when it comes to SD and other HH PC is that most comparisons drop thr TDP on higher end consoles to match SD so (15w) its my understanding the Switch 2 uses 10w on a 19w battery.

Drop SD or any other PC HH down to 10w and see what happens. Lol

DF has clearly lost their head when analyzing Switch 2's graphical capabilities.

Most people here seem to forget that in PORTABLE mode, this thing runs on fumes and is NOT as powerful as a PS4. Wake up and deal with it.

It's still powerful for its size and form factor, but wake the hell up and be realistic. In Docked Mode it easily surpasses PS4 and by the way, why does everything have to be a dick measuring contest here?

It's a $500 hybrid portable machine with the name Nintendo on it. Stop coping and enjoy the launch.

Stop coping and enjoy the launch.
Most people who are excited for Switch 2 know exactly what they are getting, so there is no coping.

The people who have no interest in Switch 2 in the first place are the ones with unrealistic expectations.

I'm super hyped for Switch 2 and what I expected clear upgrade from original Switch that also has its own exclusives and that's exactly what I got.

It is pretty amazing that a game that launched in a state that mid-range CPUs were struggling to maintain framerate at 30fps with dips into the single digits has been optimized enough to run at a relatively smooth 30fps while looking pretty on a device that fits in your pocket.

P.S. Fuck Nintendo and Nvidia.

How fucking large are your pockets?

I kinda wish CDPR was able to implement a RT lighting mode just for the meltdowns it would have caused

PS5/SX versions are decent, but RT lighting is such a big deal in this game. Not even path tracing, just RT GI. It gives the game a whole new look.

People jerking off comparing a 2025 console to a 2013 one.

Nintendo thread be a good laugh, always. 👀
I think only DF is trying to force the Switch 2 / PS4 comparison. Most videos I see are comparing it to PS5 (which it is not as good as obviously) instead of PS4 because Switch 2 is clearly better than that.

I think Switch 2 (2025 handheld) is holding up very well against a 2020 power hungry console.

People are discovering DLSS/FSR capabilities lol.
Still, i'd be curious to see that APU into a Steam Deck/ROG Ally. Could be fun.

I am getting the Switch mainly for Nintendo's first party games. The fact it's doing such a good job with with third party titles is a bonus.

Because it is irrelevant if you can turn PT on the Steam Deck, it is unplayable beyond any possible stretch of the imagination.
It's not unplayable as you can get more performance than SotC on PS2 and you can take beautiful screenshots to post in screenshots threads. 🤷‍♂️

Isn't that docked footage? Docked will better then the Steam Deck of course, hell it would be better then any PC handheld out there, bar perhaps the MSI Claw 8.
It is but lets pretend it is handheld like on Deck for the sake of some ignorant happiness (in 30fps lol)...

Your point doesn't make sense just like comparing handheld Deck with docked SW2.
My point is: stop measuring dicks all the time and stop comparing S2 docked or handheld to whatever the F.

It's a hybrid console and not comparable to anything on the market.

It punches above it's weight and it's a great value for the price and that's the end of it. All the dick measuring here is becoming very, very sad and hostile.

Not well seeing as the 40fps modes struggles to hit 40fps and they drop the resolution much lower than the quality mode. Uncapped, the series S also hits higher than 60fps in many parts of the base game too. The switch 2 can't touch the series s. Even the ps4 pro gpu is seriously questionable. It has better storage and cpu probably than the ps4 pro though so there is that...

It's not questionable, the Pro GPU is more than twice as powerful as the Switch 2, maybe closer to 3x. The Switch 2 can make up some of that difference through a more modern feature set (including DLSS), but in raw power it's not really close.

As you say, what it does have is a CPU and storage advantage, which is what helps it outperform the last-gen versions of this game.

It's not just measuring dicks. It's for people having an idea what to expect from the games.

For us, gamers its endresult that matters, im a graphic whore and pretty knowledgeable about tech, but even w/o that knowledge, u just look at it like normal casual gamer- u see switch2 cp2077 footage, it looks solid, u get hyped, u buy console/game and have tons of fun- simple :)

I have my doubts about From software's technical abilities or if it's even them doing the port but to be seen
Full disclousure, i think for game to not only look decent but more importantly(its souls game, u need stable fps and frametime here) have proper performance its best that From Software doesnt put their artist hands on it, just outsource it to the studio that is good with handling/optimising the tech instead.

Hostile dick measuring........ Ohh sounds very painful.

I am a fan of gaming. Not of 1 particular brand or system. I own all systems and I play all systems.
Cyberpunk on base PS4 runs at 720p sub 30fps with laughably low graphic settings.

Cyberpunk on Switch 2 handheld runs at 720p 40fps with clearly much higher graphic settings.

So obviously handheld Switch 2 isn't running on fumes and weaker than a PS4. The fuck are you even talking about?

wake up and deal with it.

I am not interested in a comparison as stated before. S2 punches above it's weight and it doesn't matter how it compares to an ancient console like the PS4 or whatever console for that matter.

It's a unique product and should be judged on that alone.

You say you aren't interested in comparisons but then you throw out claims like you did and pretend you're right when you know you're full of shit and now you're trying to do anything other than to admit you're wrong.

I'm interested in this version of the game, but I just can't do FPS with joysticks unless it has a ridiculous amount of aim assist which kinda ruins the experience by itself. I'm curious to see how this game plays with the Joycon mouse controls or perhaps if they allow USB mice to connect to Switch 2 for stuff like this.

What salt? It's a last gen game 5 years into this gen.

Congrats, I guess.

Eh, more like 4 years (released in December 2020), and since it's playable from its 2.0 version, we can even say it's 2 years ago.

And it released this gen, with a last gen port that should've been cancelled. It's like saying Jedi Survivor is a last gen game cause it got a PS4 port several months after the PS5 release.
