Worst part seems to be the greyish blacks.
Hopefully they fix the 60hz issue too, though realistically on consoles I think VRR will be used more to smoothen out sub 60fps game rather than sub 120 ones.
But generally, I agree with other posters. When buying new tech base your decision on what the device is capable of at the point of purchase, not on some promised features to be added at an undefined later date.

One model from a single manufacturer that didn't even launch with the tech and just got 1 out of 2 updates intended to enable the feature isn't great:
"Welp, guess we should throw this tech in the garbage"
