9.0 Presentation
A ton of unlockable tracks and videos goes a long way, and the overall style is perfectly matched to the setting.
8.0 Graphics
Quite solid through and through. Clean lines, clean textures and just great overall art direction.
8.5 Sound
If you're a 50 Cent fan, you'll love the soundtrack. Otherwise, this isn't the game for you anyway. Weapon sounds could be a little more unique, however.
5.0 Gameplay
Decent AI that actually hurts the game is an odd thing, but with Bulletproof's wonky controls, it's true. The game is a case of "been there, done that", only not as well.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
The massive amount of unlockable content means you'll be coming back for more to nab everything. The arcade mode is decent but repetitive.
6.5
Passable OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)
50 Cent: Bulletproof's success will ride on the coattails of 50 Cent's popularity, but in this case, that works out perfectly. Fans of 50 Cent and his music will find it much easier to overlook the game's shortcomings and focus on its strong presentation aspects, which really are excellent for the most part. Those who aren't fans of his music and who are just looking for a solid third-person shooter will want to look elsewhere however, as the core gameplay here is nothing that hasn't been seen before and done better a million times.
