I liked it a lot. Good character design and i prefer this style of music over the more "fluffy" music in K-on!
There were a lot of interesting things introduced in the first episode and if KyoAni is able to deliver on those setpieces i can see myself liking this more than K-on!

Gah! I hate that truemotion fake frames stuff. I personally turn it off on a persons TV if they have it on. It bugs me like nothing else. Well other than ruined aspect ratios.
