At least in my country we grew watching anime without even noticing (I'm gonna list the japanese names so you can localize them to your countries):how do you fill a day without anime

hayaoWho?
also inaf no one calls mach gogogo that it's SPEED RACER
A fate not even Aiko deserves. You're Para Para now Aiko? Watching Sailor Moon Super S?
literally everyone calls it speed racer thoughThat's why I said that the localization is different for each country. Here it was called "Meteoro" which means meteor. See how it worked? It's far easier for everyone to search in google the japanese name and say "Ohhh! I see!, that's <insert localized animu title>!"

like iirc, in japan the series is literally known for being really fucking popular in the usa. like there they had the manga (which ran for 2 volumes), the 1960's TV series, the 1997 tv series, and a manga based on the 1997 tv series (that also ran for two volumes)
but here in the usa, there have been several comics since the 1980's, four total tv series (the japanese ones and two american ones), and the live-action movie
so like, it's infinitely more popular here than in japan.
like voltron. how many people do you think have nostalgia for golion and dairugger xv? hell, iirc, toei literally sold the complete rights to both those shows to the company that makes voltron, simply because of how much more popular they were outside of japan than in it.
Is that so? North America region?
does it still have some of the music replacedSo what's the deal with the K-ON blu-rays? The season 1 blu-ray seperate volumes aren't sold through normal means anymore. There was never a season 1 collection released on blu-ray, only a DVD one. Also the first season only had lossy audio
Edit: Spoke too soon. A collection is coming out in September.
Edit 2: With lossless audio :O
does it still have some of the music replaced
Basically it boils down to Bandai no longer in the North American Anime Market. It's only recently that Sentai got the rights to the first season after already having the second season and movie rights. So what's the deal with the K-ON blu-rays? Oh right, I remember now that they changed the song that Mio, Ritsu and Mugi play in the first episode, probably due to rights issues. My guess would be that it's the same as before, but we shall see how that turns out.
The one thing I can say that might give us some hope is that the new release is mirroring the Japanese release including CD Art and the lossless audio.
Maybe the Japanese track will be the original audio and the english one won't? Unless they redubbed it instead of using Bandai's dub. That or Bandai handing over their original recordings for a lossless mastering.
Thanks Chet!

That's not new...
Would Vocaloids fit into that category? If so, I'm with you!
You have my bow!
