The last two Widows have been $190 though, and the sculpt on this one is a reused WS head sculpt with different hair. Doesn't deserve a $30 markup.
they really inflated their prices. she used to be sub $200. dammit

Dude when Hot Toys first released their Iron Man 1 movie figures they were 140 each!!. I bought Mark 1, 2 and 3 for like 425 bucks off a dude on eBay.
If you're on the fence about the Age of Ultron HT figures, they will all be much more expensive and rare after release. If you're a completionist like me then you should get them as early as possible.

Ugh such a hard decision. Would much rather focus on Star Wars, but the first Avengers set is still my favorite display I have.
Doing the same for this one seems like it'd be way more expensive though, which is saying a lot.

It's been awhile since I bought a quality sixth scale figure. My last Hot Toys was the DX12 Batman. Then I picked up the recent Sideshow Vader. I just this minute dropped some cash on that unofficial Dredd figure. Loved how they adapted the suit in that film. Can't wait.

I finally got my hands on the Marvel Infinite Daredevil and Spidey with pizza. So stoked. Won't be able to crack the open until tomorrow night though.

I FINALLY GOT ONE.
The reissue of the Mass Production EVA marks my first "collectible figure" and my first Revoltech, and it's amazing!
There is no pose this guy can't do, the joints are very stable, and the paint + accessories is on point. The one "issue" it has is how back-heavy the wings are, but it comes with a stand so whatevs.
I'm definitely not used to these joints and I'm kinda scared to break them, but the system works and it just feels like what the real EVA should move like.
Is there anything I should know about Revoltech stuff? lol

So i got a lot of hands on time today at work with the Hot Toys Strike Suit Captain America from Winter Soldier, and I think this is one of the first times I've cone away feeling very disappointed with a Hot Toys figure. I don't know what they did between prototype and final production but Cap's pecs look flat as a pancake. There's the suit itself which is way too tight that it restricts articulation. And lastly, the paintwork on the hands left a lot to be desired.
On a positive note, I also fiddled with Starlord and the Falcon, both of which are fantastic. The Falcon with his wings wide open is a really impressive looking piece.

Perfect. I didn't see any in Myer or Critical Hit, so not sure where else has them.
They don't stock them in any retail stores and if they're available at a comic shop it's not without a ridiculous mark-up. I've brought a few of them on Ebay though.

The sculpt looks a bit stretched out. The Black Series figure is actually a better representation of Fett and a bit cheaper besides.

The problem with me is that I wanted to start collecting hot toys of only the marvel universe, and only a few in that but once I have one I need the whole set. So here I am in a downward spiral with the canadian dollar so low..." Whats this a darth vader? oh he looks nice I should get him, but if I get him I have to get Han, chewie and any others..."

Finally received this pack in the mail the other day.
Sabine looked alright as is but I did some really easy touch-ups(missing paint apps, silver for armor scuffs, etc) now its a pretty great looking figure.
Crap articulation and permanent helmet pissed me off till I actually had it in hand, I can look past that for this figure though.
Stormtrooper is awful though.

I gave up on all my local stores as none of them have had anything other than 6" Han & Obi-Wan since early last fall.
Paid $25, not that mad unless she suddenly shows up in my stores relatively soon.
Compared to older figures they definitely suck, though its likely the only Sabine we will see anytime soon(hoping for a Black Series version)
Hera probably going to be a pain as well. I don't even want to guess Internet prices for the upcoming Rebels

So I've finally had time to crack open the PAK Halo 2 Master Chief and take some pics, and I've gotta say that I'm really impressed.
I've got a couple of gripes, like the knee joints are a quite ugly, the energy sword is a bit big and the hands are very stiff (seriously you're gonna need some hot water to get his weapons in).
These don't really detract from the figure all that much though. Great sculpt, good articulation and a decent number of accessories (although I would have liked to have seen a battle rifle but whatcha gonna do?), this is a must buy if you're a Halo fan.

Found the latest in Disney Store exclusives this past Thursday... "Hawkguy"!! First, best surprise Select ever and second, I think this might be my fav, quickly knocking the most recent Thor out of the position. This toy nails the tone and personality of Clint from the Fraction/Aja run. Finally, the cherry on top being Arrow...er, Lucky the Pizza Dog!
