Activision announce Destiny House of Wolves DLC to drop on May 19th

Just a single new strike? So this is another one of the small expansions?

Does that mean there are two strikes on PS4 or are they actually not screwing Xbox players over this time?

We will only find that out if PS blog announces exclusive content. In the past Bungie does not mention the exclusive content themselves.

Woah, didn't read everything, if the raid is actually just a Horde/Wave type mode I may just be skipping out on this. I want new mechanics to figure out, not just fighting waves of enemies presumably from some spot people find to cheese from.

Everyone get ready for one new raid and then a handful of stupid missions using recycled content and maps!!!!! Oh, and for good measure, they will add a handful of weapons that are terrible and no one will use!!

I'll be back but I don't have much hope...

Holy shit I thought you loved destiny. All hope just died for my 99 dollarsspent on CE

I wonder if this DLC will give middle finger to all players who have put a lot time into 1st DLC, just like 1st DLC gave such finger to Vanilla players who put a lot hours into that. Suddenly all that time you used to gear up and maintain variety of gear was wasted time as you had to recollect and relevel everything.

What mechanic? It isn't too difficult to jump from 1 to 20, and so on. Just work on the Vanguard strikes, and upgrade your light gear.

This isn't like WoW when the game is over 10 years old, and the level cap is 100. When a third or fourth Destiny expansion is released, then maybe we will see such mechanic.

Well last time they offered quick lvl 31 gear through vanguard and Pvp commendations.

Well it looks like there will be a new 'social' space at least. That already puts it above TDB.

I think 39 is rumoured to be the new vanguard gear light level no?

Well, i still play Crota every week with a bunch of friends so i'm happy with the news.
Finally some incentive to get my Warlock up to level 32.

The guy who leaked it did the leg work and was able to determine the level cap of 39. He got everything else right so there is no reason not to believe it. Unless you have a better source?

It would probably be 39 light gear

Oops, I misread the info. 39 light for each piece of armor. So you can hit Light Level 34 potentially actually.

Yeah, 33 light = lv30 36 light=lv32 39 light =34?

No he is right. I always thought the new level cap would be 39. But I misread it, the megamanexe leak says 39 light for each piece of armorarmor, not light level. That beings you to 33. With raid gear, you can hit 34.

Do you think Bungie might offer a discount on the expansion pass with House of Wolves?

I play Destiny on both Xbox One and PS4, and I have the expansion for Xbox One, but not for PS4. Think they might do any form of discount if you do not have Dark Below?

I focused on one character because WARLOCKS RULE, FOOL!!

But I think it's time I work on getting 2 new classes up to raid levels to farm out what I need properly.

Tingles in my body, Destiny has done it to me.

Yeah, 33 light = lv30 36 light=lv32 39 light =34?

Nope. It's

30 light x4 = 120 light = level 30

33 light x4 = 132 light = level 31
36 light x4 = 144 light = level 32

so probably

39 light x4 = 156 light = level 33
42 light x4 = 168 light = level 34

Wow. So true, and yet I still play a lot. :(

Kind of a lame hype video with no run through of the content other than the single player event that's been cooking for quite some time.
As a Destiny fan this game has fallen woefully short of the 'living' - 'television season' whatever those words were used to describe the constant stream of content we were supposed to get.

Again, not making direct comparisons here. But maybe...

Im not falling for this again. Last DLC was the most overpriced DLC ive bought.

Really? What would you consider fair?

For me (on PS4). $17.50 (or even 20 bucks) isn't that bad consdering.

I remember paying $12 for a 3 map pack in Halo 3/Reach.

Here I'm still getting a 3 map pack for multi, plus 2 strikes, plus some missions, plus some exotics, plus a raid. I'd say that all makes up for the extra $8, and then some.

That's the same for all mmos when new content is released.

Quick to judge. Prison of Elders sounds cool, so let's just hang onto our shorts before we jump to any decisions.

I said this after the beta too.

I thought that could not possibly be everything for earth, yet it was.

I have put in far more hours that I am willing to admit, but shortly after tDB came out, I burned out. I took a couple week break inthere as well before tDB.

No new raid? Was there going to be one, but they decided fuck it because the last one was so laughably broken?

Also, I could have sworn that raids were advertised at launch as being part of each expansion. seems like hot garbage to be charged that much for what ultimately amount to about 3 hours of new content tops.

even though I already paid, I don't see my self spending much, if any time on this.
