Alright you make valid points. It's just for every level headed person who wants a assault rifle to use for enjoyment, there's the other 4 that want it just too fuck people up. So that makes it somewhat of a tough call.

Some people agree with Democrats or Republicans less then half of the time, but they agree with the other party even less. It does not mean that they are anti-gay, or pro-Che or whatever extreme you want to place them in.
