Right. And it pisses me off, because the music is actually EXCELLENT. AoS is actually disrespecting Bear McCreary; he may have composed one of his finest soundtracks yet and nobody could ever notice it.

Go the to tornado sequence and mute the center channel. It completely changes the mood of the show.

Whoever is running this show is doing some spectacularly poor decisions at setting the tone.

I think they've figured out that the music is too big for the tone of the show they've chosen. McCreary's full orchestral bombast would go great for a show like Arrow, which moves faster and takes bigger risks but for Agents of SHIELD as it currently exists, it overwhelms the show so they dialed it down. It's a real waste of a fine composer.

Skrull rights are part of the Fantastic Four package, so I doubt this... And I dont think, that she will be a Chitauri, because it wasnt established that they have shape shifting powers in The Avengers.

I never thought about the Skrulls being tied to the FF. I hope that means they'll never surface in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies since I hate evil doppelganger stories.

Depends on how fast Fox can start the production for the Fantastic Four Reboot. I would love it, if the Galactic Part of the MCU could use the Skrull, Galactus, Annihilus and the negative Zone.

Not true. Both Fox and Marvel/Disney can use the Skrulls. It's just that Fox has exclusive rights to the Super Skrull (due to having the FF's powers).

Sheesh, those character rights must be a mess. I suppose that if I was a lawyer though, I'd want to be working on things like comic book character rights.

I know Fox and Sony have been making X-Men and Spider-Man movies to keep their movie rights, but why hasn't the same happened with Fantastic Four? Different circumstances?

The second one made less than the first, and neither of them were setting the charts on fire. Not to mention the 2nd one was considerably worse than the 1st, so prospects for a 3rd were not good.

Reboot is in the planning stages, probably about to be rushed into pre-production, and production needs to be fully underway as of Oct. 2014 otherwise rights revert back to Marvel.
Everyone is wishing Fox the worst on this. The X-Franchise is more than enough for Fox to handle, they don't need the F4 ontop of all that too.
They have X-Men, X-Men Origins: Magneto/Cyclops/Storm, Wolverine, X-Force & Deadpool all some stage of development/talk/planning at some point or another. They can also do X-Factor and Maddox: The Multiple Man and various other mutant related stories till the end of time. They should let F4 go home.

^^ Would love that, actually.

I was just thinking, you realize May was in Street Fighter? That means she was in a Marvel thing AND a Capcom thing. If that isn't cool, I don't know what is.

She could fight herself in a Marvel vs. Capcom movie.

So Skye will show up in Avengers 3 and kick Thanos' ass while the rest of the team sits idly by.

I don't think Skye is going to be a super hero that we know. She'll be one specifically created for this program.

When she was explained what happened to her and started shedding tears,at the same time, they showed the huge storm coming from the device but for an instant I thought, damn is she going to be Storm lol...

I liked this episode...

I remember reading an interview where it started that Skye was an existing Marvel character, but I can't remember where i saw that. I searched for it and can't find it, so now I'm starting to question if I saw it at all.

Do you remember where that interview was made and when?
I would love a link.

And I am so glad I wasn't the only one to see it, but my Google-fu is weak, I cannot find it.

After i posted, I tried searching for a link for awhile. No dice.

Sort of related:

Tara Butters & Michele Fazekas Shepherding ‘Agent Carter’ For ABC & Marvel

So it looks like the Agent Carter TV is gonna be a reality.

I'd like to see connections between this show and Agents of SHIELD, perhaps serving as a bridge/prequel to the present day SHIELD series.

I wouldn't mind it if it were 13 episodes.

No, you're right. Someone teased that she was an established Marvel character.

It wasn't an interview. It was a tweet. It's posted earlier in this thread somewhere.

I wonder if they'll also drag Peter MacNicol back.

Is it though? This news, coupled with some of the comments I've seen here about the latest episode, are about to make me catch up on the two or three episodes I've missed now. I may be back on board.

Only meant it in the way that people were complaining about the Thor 2 tie-in episode.

Lady Sif coming to Agents of SHIELD? Hallelujah.

I was gonna post a photo of her in that amazing dress from the Thor premiere, but I don't wanna get banned.

But that was such an amazing dress. Good Lord.

Those photos were posted A LOT OF TIMES in Thor2 thread. :)

Its great that she is coming to the show. Shame entire main cast of the show [except Coulson] is totally irrelevant and boring.

Wasn't there a female character who was a computer whiz. A mutant maybe? She could interface with the network or something?

I'm psychologically unable to give a shit about the identity of the Clairvoyant.

Am I alone?

I don't really care about his identity either. I'd be more interested in his motives and the extent of his powers and influence.

I quite liked the last two episodes, we can finally see things moving forward. I was about to quit, now I’ll probably stick until the end of the season.
