Ward probably is HYDRA, but will have a change of heart because of his feelings for Skye.

I'm also guessing the childhood memory of the well has something to do with Ward's allegiance.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
Triplett is sketchy to me. Why would he be the only one of Garrett's team to escape his murder spree? His over-the-top yelling at Garrett is also pretty suspicious.

I think he's the long con, not Ward.
Who know probably going to predict everything coming in the next few episodes?

The AoS writers.

I love Ward being bad but I think it was fairly dumb for Hand to let him handle the situation like that, on a plane, no less. I'm conflicted because I want the twist but I also want Victoria to live and be like "one step ahead assholes."

Oh, wow...

The first time in a long time that I've seriously laughed out loud at a meme.

Yeah, doesn't really make sense for Hand to have done that. I guess we'll find out.

Now that some farfetched shit is out like Coulson back from the dead, Skye miraculous recovery
(Stephen Strange shout out in TWS)
can we have an LMD? Being Hand the first one to use it?

Did anyone else think it was so adorably sad when Fitz started crying? He looked so devastated that everything he's ever done was in line with something bad.

It basically means that episode where he cowboyed up with Ward was essentially a Hydra recruitment exam

do we really want LMD to exist in MCU, we already have people complaining about fake death in Marvel movies, Coulson, Loki, Bucky(in the first cap movie), and
Fury in Winter Soldier
. if we add LMD in the series, it will totally cheapen any death scene they made, people will be instantly think if it was LMD or not.

edit: forgot Deathlock also had fake death scene when he's still Mike Peterson

BTW Marvel/ABC actually spoiled Ward and Bill Paxton being Hydra a few days ago with a set of images they sent out of them talking to whats her face in next weeks episode.

Was I really the only person that saw those images?

I thought it was kinda weird they would do that, so I'm also leaning towards a triple cross thing.

I don't know... it was an entertaining episode for sure, but I'm not really jumping up and down over it. I think it has to do with Coulson and his team going on their merry way. It's almost like nothing happened. It would be interesting to see the clean up in the wake of TWS, but I don't think we're going to be getting any of that.

Also, maybe I'm missing something here, but activating all the sleeper cells makes no sense. The "jig" wasn't up until maybe the helicarrier launches.

And the visualization of decrypting the encoded message was awful. It was like a slot machine.

Nitpicks aside, I did like the idea that the team was really put together by May, but it deflates the idea that Coulson was resurrected because Fury needed a trusted agent. It'll it'll be interesting to see what the reason is. Countdown to the last episode!

Edit: I'm going to toss my guess that Ward is going into deep cover. From the preview
Paxton(?) says welcome to Hydra... which would mean he was never a sleeper cell to begin with. Also, Hand letting Ward just murder him is so out of character.

I think I saw that, I assume they're interrogating her

This would be happening around the time Cap had told everyone SHIELD was compromised. It was a broadcast to hydra agents to go ahead and make their moves. Also, next week would be dealing with the aftermath since again this episode happens concurrently with the helicarrier launch.

I guess Marvel figures only hardcore Marvel fans are watching Agents of Shield for them to feel comfortable putting so many Captain America 2 spoilers in the episode right after opening weekend.

Yeah I saw that too, there was also an image showing
the container that was holding Gravitonium - now empty and in Raina/Quinn/Garrett's possession
which is surprisingly spoilerific

maybe incentives for people to go watch Winter Soldier, spoiler be damned. lol

I was kinda worried they were gonna pussyfoot around the whole HYDRA thing, but I'm glad they tackled it head on. Sux for anyone who saw this before Winter Soldier, though

Or they figure non-hardcores won't give a shit about the Hydra reveal, and will likely be entertained as much by the movie.

I was spoiled on that plot point beforehand by accident, but it was still an amazing movie. (There's another reveal mid-movie that had me smiling ear to ear.)

ABC and Marvel have been hammering for over a week that you should see TWS before watching the episode. On TV, Internet etc. they have been saying it.

While watching the episode pre movie ruins a big surprise the movie is still awesome

I'm willing to believe that, but all those events were during the daytime. The encrypted message was sent out at night and I'm guessing the HUB is somewhere in the continental US.

But thats a good thing either way. The problem with the early season is tht AoS was treated as the red-headed stepchild of the MCU. If the series or the Netflix shows have any chance of being good it needs to be treated with the same importance as the movies. In the long run the shows may end up being bigger than the movies.

the hub is probably not in the US. when the flight path was shown last week, it looked like it was headed to Europe.

considering they spoiled the
winter soldier = bucky
so nonchalantly on their mcu abc special...not surprised.

That was never really a big secret for viewers, Fiege said as much.

The show/network, I think, has been pretty well in telling viewers that last episode led up to Winter Soldier and they should catch it before this one. Yeah, it might suck if you didn't catch the movie, but this is what everyone wanted the show to be.

Exactly. Thank god they're doing something like this in real time and not accommodating those who haven't seen it.

You know....I really hope MCU won't introduce LMD ever.

It really such a cop-out solution to everything. Like the mask thing in Mission Impossible movies, Ghost Protocol did the right thing by not using it.

Samuel L Jackson is confirmed to be making another appearance this season. Could be a big indicator to how they go forward with season 2 if it happens
