I can only imagine how baffling it must be for the average Terran in-universe. Asseylum first came to Earth for peace talks, then post-assassination still wanted peace talks, then she wanted war, then she marries Slaine and wants to create a new nation, and now she marries someone else and wants peace again.

But but, she stood up! That clearly proves she's the real one despite only Slaine's crew and Inaho's crew knowing there is two princesses and hime has been fake for the last two years.

In all seriousness, they probably think she was being used by Slaine or something. He is Terran born scum after all.

Ugh, awful direction for the plot, its like they changed writers and are doing some type of canon divergence, I cant even.

Slaine is supposed to be the supreme ultimate overlord of heaven and earth not some old hotness forgotten husband of last year. Asseylum hime needs to die immediately. At least this means that Slaine is free for Inaho now, but they could have done this in a much better way.

I wonder how Slaine feels about Asseylum aligning herself with the son of his abuser. I doubt the creative forces behind the show can find time or even care to address that, but I find it intriguing. Was Asseylum simply not aware of the fact Slaine must have faced physical and verbal abuse on a daily basis when he was her attendant? It'd be interesting if there was some resentment there to add to his motivations.

Its always nice seeing some affection between Inaho and Yuki. Not really a great character builder, but still nice.

Inko needs take her shot at Inaho now.

The only satisfactory outcome right now would be Inko marrying Mazuurek and proclaiming herself the Empress of the Solar System. Since both Earth military and Orbital Knights have completely no idea what the hell is going on, I'm pretty sure everyone would gladly follow the only two decent characters still left in this shitstorm. Then, Bat and Orange could finally stand together as the full might of the Inko Empire comes down upon them...

It is weird, very much so. I still think the whole thing is a huge facade to see how far you can string people along pure trash as long as there are weirdly good parts in it, given some of the stuff I've seen quoted from the staff and the previews.
I will prove this theory, one of these days.
