Ant-Man #3: Sam/Scott are basically buddies in this but I get the feeling
Scott's in jail because he got framed.
Beetle's back too.

Sam Cap:
Diamondback turned heel because there's more female heroes? Huh? Regardless, the Serpent Society aren't jobbers, they are seriously bad guys in suits...and scales

Basically people are flocking to the new "role model" female heroes and don't want mercanaries like her anymore. She had nowhere to go and couldn't find a normal job so she went back to her old life.

Nick Spencer has surprising me with his the quality of his output at Marvel since Superior Foes.

Didn't even pay attention to who the writer on those were.

Sam Cap is a god tier book right now so that makes sense

I'm enjoying Sam Cap more than I thought.

I think together with Invincible Iron Man, Amazing Spider-Man, Vision and Ms. Marvel my favourite relaunches.

The latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man was pretty great and had an amazing twist ending. That said-the supporting cast in this series is massive at this point.

I really liked Hellcat. But it depends on your tolerance for "cute round girly Tumblr webcomic" style because that's 99% what it is.

If you liked Squirrel Girl you'd like Hellcat. If Squirrel Girl makes you upset you probably won't like Hellcat.

That's not even my issue with it. I have no problem with Squirrel Girl, but this book bothered me.

Hellcat is cute and inoffensive. It has that webcomic aesthetic similar to Squirrel Girl, but page for page it's not nearly as funny yet. I liked the bit with Patsy and Ian talking while Tubs tries to arm wrestle She-Hulk in the background before she spills the drink on her again. I'll stick with it for a few issues and see where it goes.

I got Uncanny and for three whole pages I almost thought Land stopped tracing.

Then a woman showed up and you could instantly tell the original image was porn.

Invincible Iron Man continues to be one of the most solid of the ANAD titles. So many great moments.

Ultimates is just zany super science zaniness and I love every second of it.

Still need to read Hulk and the new Deadpool/Spidey book.

LOL I assume you're talking about Monet. I thought the panel of her head tilted back didn't fit with the text alongside it.

I like that he keeps introducing cool new armor features in every issue. I wonder how many of those he's got tucked away for this series.

I would pay a one time DLC fee to never have Greg Land work at Marvel again.

That constant smiling. That incredibly lazy panel in which he zoomed in the exact same image of her face.

You can see that Psylocke still has nipples from the porn.

What an amazing issue of Deadpool.
Duggan's developed a new arch-enemy for Wade that works for me on every level. Drawn from years of history - Madcap is a perfect foil for Wade (much better than that trash "evil deadpool" from a few years ago) and I hope we see him pop up again in the book.
This run is getting close to my all time favourite on the book - behind the original Kelly run for me right now.

I wonder what the in-universe explanation is for naming the various Spider-Men. So if they need to get ahold of the character we know as Miles Morales, does Johnny Storm say "No not the Red Spiderman-the other guy! No no no, not Spider-Man 2099!"

The Ultimates - This book is nerdy as hell.

The Vision - This book is fucked up.

Doctor Strange - This book is weird.

A-Force - I think Singularity is this universe's new Galactus or something.

Contest of Champions continues to be the GOAT.

This week Gamora goes home, replaced by the ultimate champion...

Return of the goddamn king!

Ultimates #3 was so good. And to think I thought I wasnt going to like it.

I liked pretty much everything this week. Skipped out on totally awesome hulk though.

All joking about ROTK aside, Vision continues to be the best marvel book out there by a good green country mile. like...nothing else is even anywhere close.
