I still don't get if ANAD Avengers is supposed to be the flagship Avengers book. The art is really bad and muddled.

I like all of those books a whole, whole lot, but the last time I fell in love with a comic book as hard and as quickly as I have for New Avengers, it became my avatar everywhere forever.

New Falcon is just unappealing to me as well.

And yes the last page of Uncanny Avengers is a promising direction-but this first arc was still ass. Also-Quicksilver supposedly has a big heart??

The Vision, Squirrel Girl, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Drax, Starbrand and Nightmask, Spider-Woman, Doctor Strange, Amazing Spider-Man, all three Avengers books, all three X-Books, both Inhuman books, Karnak, The Ultimates, Squadron Supreme, Ms. Marvel, Thor, and Scarlet Witch - these I like a lot.

Black Knight, Silk, and Spider-Gwen are boring. I kinda feel like I'll like the Guardians books, but I dunno yet. Moon Girl is still world building, so I dunno.

The rest I haven't caught up on yet, but I've heard/read good stuff about Carnage and Venom: Spaceknight.

I thought the first issue was one of the weaker starts in ANAD, but it quickly turned right back around. PAD continues to reward my faith in him, though I'm still not a huge fan of the art.

He's been insisting on twitter for years that he's had a fully realized thing for a Spider-Men 2 picking up that particular thread, but he couldn't do anything with it because the Spider-Verse got all derailed by Superior happening for a year, than the multiverse Secret Wars hijinks.

Not sure it's even possible for him to pick it back up now- it doesn't seem like Maker remembers being from another universe originally, so it seems like Miles will just think he is this universe's Miles? But at the same time, there was clearly also a 616 Reed in the history of this new universe (see: the statue from Amazing Spider-Man #3 that isn't Maker!Reed with the Four), so maybe that other Miles is still out there.

That could be a really interesting angle to take, especially if we get a story where that truth comes out. Plus, Maker could be exempt from whatever cosmic scale balancing would only allow for the one Miles by virtue of Reed having

I actually hope he does- I like that approach much more than Miles thinking that he always existed here. Maybe it's part of (Secret Wars spoilers)

Molecule Man's gift? The implication I got was certainly that he was responsible for Miles mom being alive again, I could see him wanting Miles to retain his memories as a part of that.

Hopefully we get some answers in Miles' new ongoing- I normally wouldn't expect that level of continuity referencing and planning from Bendis, but Invincible Iron Man has me optimistic.
