Almost all of my possessions are toys and videogames. I'm 27. Is this wrong?

Yo.

So here’s a list of what I own:
A car
A scooter
A bed
A computer
Some art deco antiques
Some pictures
Shitloads of clothes
Shitloads of games and toys and CDs and DVDs and weird old Japanese shit

Is this acceptable? Should I own more stuff that isn’t clothes and toys and junk by now? I have been stung in a few past relationships, losing loads of stuff but still.

Shouldn’t I have, um, furniture and, I don’t know…
My flat id nicely furnished so I don’t need to buy any.

think the problem is that the majority of what I own, in terms of size, space and value is clothes and toys and crap. Is this the norm?

It's all about doing what you like, and buying what you like. I know a lot of people who tried to "grow up" too early, and now you can tell they're unhappy with what they're doing, but they're stuck in their personal rut.

If you like it, who cares if it's wrong? Not me. :)

i'm assuming you also have a good job, good health, and of course we know you have a loving and beautiful life. Your life seems pretty ideal. Live your life the way you want, fuck the haters.

Also, add me to the "You're 27?!" club. i thought you were in your early 20s. If you don't mind me asking, how old's your wife? She looks pretty young also.

It's not wrong but it's not as good a collection as you should have by 27. When I"M THAT AGE I plan to have my videogames and movies of course, a car, a home theater, bowling alley, and bed. Maybe a pool table. But that's it. No fancy schmancy living room and furniture or kitchen. If I have this one day for a house, I officially rock.

Well, here's what I've got. I'm 21.

-car
-2 bicycles, one road, one MTB
-laptop, monitor, printer
-LOTS of video games
-LOTS of classical music CDs
-LOTS of classical sheet music
-4 or 5 DVDs
-RCA Music CD-R/RW recorder, microphone, related equipment
-Some board games I've never used but never thrown away
-Model cars
-Books, a few novels, some comedy, some animal-related
-Plush snow leopard and dragon
-Electric piano
-Cheap Chinese violin
-Flute

actually, i feel the best i've ever felt. I'm fitter than i'm ever been, and i'm more relaxed and chilled out, i have a long term gf who i'm in no massive rush to get married to but will do so, even work is panning out well... :)
