Amazon - Black Friday deals

FirmBizBws

Becomes baffled, curling up into a ball when confronted with three controller options.
Yep. It's weird. Almost as if they want me to buy elsewhere.

Seems like they just want us to keep checking their site every hour.

Wish they would just email me when there are new lightening deals in my categories or choice.

I just want the Toshiba TV... I wish I didn't have to keep refreshing the page.

That would defeat the point. The entire idea is to keep you checking the page hoping you buy other things.

If all you want is the tv, they literally don't want your business.

Upside, inside out he's livin la vida loca, He'll push and pull you down, livin la vida loca
Some lighting deals say "Prime Early Access deal" now, so I guess that's how they'll deal with that.
Still nothing in the calendar though :/

Well, there's no news on video games, so I plan on getting Mordor and Diablo 3 at Best Buy. They could've had my business there, but no news is bad news for them (per my wallet, at least).

I'm still debating on the 65" Vizio at walmart, but not entirely sure what model it is yet. If it's E series, then I'll pounce on that instead.

ha no

those are probably the lowest class brand available. westinghouse or some bs like that

saw price is right the other day giving away a " new HDTV! " which was a brand I've never even heard of. Sunlit TV or some shit like that.

They are. Walmart currently has a 40 inch led for 116.00. It's the Element brand. Dog shit tv but for 100 bucks plus change it is a good deal if you are looking for a tv in your den or your tween is begging for a tv in their room. I mean shit, 116 bucks, if the thing lasted just a year or two it is still worth it.

AW CRAP, I just noticed the Aksys games are going on sale tomorrow. I thought it was later this week. Not sure if I wanna deal with staying or waking up at 3 AM to see the sale prices when I gotta wake up at 7 AM for classes.

I'm not sure if it's been mentoined before, but I'm thinking it's this one:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I0S6YWM/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Fits the criteria: Toshiba, 50", LED, and it's the only one that's Prime eligible so that weeds out all the other Toshiba offers not sold by Amazon directly.

i'd be very happy it it ends up being this one (and if i get it of course). love the gray color. shame it only has 2 HDMI ports, but that's really not a big deal when the thing is $199.

edit - this thread should really just be renamed Amazon Toshiba TV for $199 Watch Thread lol

How much will the TV be?
You can't have enough TV imo.
I need 2 more TVs to fill out my guest rooms, and moving the older TV into the restroom or something.

Unless I'm wrong, you only need to check the site in the morning. They show all the Lightning deals for the whole day. I choose electronics and I see whats going to come out. If its not the stuff I want I don't bother refreshing.

Unfortunately, based off last year the best deals they put up at random, and aren't listed at the start of the day. Most likely the Toshiba will not be listed.

Could be this one, too: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ISIFZNI/?tag=neogaf0e-20

But yeah, I didn't think of Prime as criteria--that helps narrow it down to the above two.

I was thinking that one as a possibility, too, however unlike the Vizio one it doesn't have "Smart" in the title.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's the other one. The reviews on that tv are not very good. I'd rather have a solid non-smart tv than a smart tv that has issues.

Seems like the reviews are mainly talking about how slow the "Smart" feature is. I almost have a dozen devices that do the same AND can plug into the TV already, so I don't really care.

Unfortunately, it looks like it has quite a bit of motion blur. Other than that though, the TV looks amazing. I hope it's the one on sale.

1. What do ya'll think of this TV right here?
2. Do you think it would drop in price any more than it is currently?

edit:

same questions for this one too!
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KVLT08G/?tag=neogaf0e-20

I've heard that Samsung TVs have AWFUL input lag (therefore terrible for gaming). And I *believe* that LG one is going to be 479$ for Best Buy's online black friday sale.

edit - ah sorry its a slightly different LG model, but still it is 55 inches and will be $479: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-55-c.../9200105.p?id=1219398344416&skuId=9200105

I will keep an eye out, the money I save on the itmes I could get would be spent on the more expensive but super fast shipping to get it here faster than I got some items last year (ordered a few things and they didn't arrive until after christmas.. yay for long distance postage).

For $199 I think it is worth it either way. I can't imagine it is possible to find a 50 in TV with similar specs for anything even close to this.

Instead of making blanket statements based on things you "heard", maybe direct him to a site where he can see some actual input lag details for specific tv models. As you can see, Samsung has some quite a few models that are rated excellent. I have two personally and they are completely fine for gaming...

What's the best page to keep refreshing? I don't even see TEW other than your link.

I'm just using the same calendar link that I've posted in the OP.

I'm hoping to snag FF curtain call for like nothing more than $20(including tax). probably won't happen but I'm not spending more than that. wish they'd just post all the games they're going to have on sale. I'm not going to just constantly check their site.

Wait, they started their lighting deals and bundles already? They haven't done the PS4 bundles yet, have they? I didn't think anything was going down until the 28th.

Considering that seems to be the sale price for it at other places, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon sold it for that much as well.
