Yeah, they perform better in 4k but this data is not that relevant to most gamers. Hardly anyone (outside of 4090/5090 users) play at native 4k, so 1440p data is far closer to resolutions people will be using with DLSS/FSR4 (1080p, ~1200p, 1440p).

Fair enough, but I play everything in 4K on my 7900XT and it has never broke a sweat. This is a 4K card.

The cheapest 9070XT I can find is 779.90 €, from Powercolor.

AMD has addressed the biggest issues (RT performance and FSR image quality), so finally AMD folks will not be missing much, but still, if I had to choose between the 9070XT and Nvidia's GPUs, I would still choose Nvidia. The 9070XT only wins on price, so if the AMD card ends up costing similar to the RTX5070ti then the AMD card doesn't make any sense, because the 5070ti is better at pretty much everything.
