So anyone think they'll go a mindfuck route and show the seperate seasons are actually connected in the final episode, i mean its pretty obvious the
Cardinal will be possessed and become Pope, but maybe he could be the same pope in the first season
.

Who? Don't remember him...

I know the season still isn't over but what's the general consensus so far on season 2? With the season finale coming up, I finally decided to watch season 2 this weekend. I still have a few episodes to go but so far I'm not really liking this season.
I liked S1, but I LOVE S2.

S1 was mostly a fun little ghost story. S2 is demons and mutants and aliens and serial killers and a bunch of other dumb shit that doesn't mesh.

Apparently the ending will wrap everything up quite nicely.

Praying for Jude.

Ah yes, because ghosts arent 'dumb shit' compared to the rest? Also, S1 had serial killers and a baby mutant and a child born from a ghost and human as the antichrist, so how's that not 'dumb shit' but aliens suddenly are?

Yeah, season 1 has a woman raped by a ghost dressed as a gimp in the first episode. It has always been batshit crazy and full of dumb shit. That's part of the fun.

Me neither but I don't understand why they thought the aliens were a good idea for this season. The inclusion of aliens brings nothing to the show.

I think they did it because it was somewhat relevant to the time era, where a lot of invasion literature started hitting the shelves.

I know it doesn't necessarily mean they HAD to do it, but I am not holding it against them.

If we have well and truly seen the whole alien story arc play out, I am disappointed. I am hoping for some more clarification or something in the final episode but I think I am just setting myself up for a giant let down.

Do people really want a happy resolve for Jude? She was a tryrant, locked people up she knew were sane, sterilised people. She's the real monster.

Her actions were a product of the time rather than malice. Locking up Lana is the only thing she did wrong, and she did what she had to to fix it.

She is, you're right. But at the same time I think she had a moment of clarity halfway through and tried to absolve. I mean, she helped Lana get out. She really didn't have to, but she did.

When she caught onto the Msgr's schtick, she turned on him despite having sexual fantasies about him almost every day.

I don't expect a happy ending for her. I actually expect that she will
see an end but somehow it will be a sacrifice
.

So, regarding the final episode - we will find out what ripped off Leo (Adam Levine) arm. What are your theories? I think it's Bloody Face, but
a second kind of apprentice. Perhaps one of Kit's children. Who fucking knows why though

Yeah but she took delight in the beatings, telling others to have more imagination when they chose the thinner whipping rods. There was malice and enjoyment in her actions.

I don't know if I believe this myself - but maybe she felt like they deserved a greater punishment because they genuinely "sinned"?

I know where you're coming from, however. She was a bitch, but if she were to suddenly
become sane
do you really think she would carry on the way she did? I think everything she has been through thus far has really rendered her a much better person.

I think Jude will plunge to her death somehow. She said something about 'Growing wings and flying away" or something like that in one of the last episodes.

So I'm wondering if they're ever going to explain the connection between Monsignor and Dr. Arden. In the Anne Frank episode Monsignor calls him and tells him to get his act together. It seemed like they were in cahoots and were both Nazis.

They were in cahoots. The Monsignor knew about his messed up experiments and let them continue so as not to ruin his reputation or something like that.

Wasn't Arden a doctor at the TB hospital? He sweet-talked him with his ideal of creating a master race.

Oh wow, I am rewatching Nip/Tuck during my downtime and came across this episode.

Sarah Paulson playing a dirty southerner prostitute who pretends she has stigmata.

Oh, and wow, the guy who plays the exorcist in the second episode of Asylum plays a priest in this episode too.

Now, Murphy, please employ Famke Jansse, Annalynne McCord and Kelly Carlson for Season 3 *.*

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I don't want Violate shippers on Tumblr going on and on about her and Evan Peters. If she has to be cast, I hope she murders Evan Peters' character quickly and efficiently so I don't have to watch another love-angst crap from S1.

I don't really understand why Murphy want to put Romeo & Juliet element on a horror fucking show. It's a horror show. Scare me. Terrify me. But don't terrify me via Twatlight-like plotting.

I really really hope that the Romeo and Juliet love story in season 3 does not involve Evan Peters or Taissa Farmiga.

Bad person who did a good thing. I think she realizes her faults and where she went wrong too. She even admitted so to Lana before helping her get out. It's hard to not fee like she's getting a little bit of her own medicine, but I think her transformation and sacrifice to get Lana out has ensured I only want to see her get a little bit of that medicine and not a lot.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
So, tonights apparently the finale despite there being two episodes. WTF?

I don't think there's two episodes. In my EPG there's the hour-long season finale back to back. Both have Original Air Dates of 01-23-13, Episode 13.

Would be cool though. 8 more minutes!
