translation : pretty much guaranteed that Drogba is done in Montreal

Hurting a growing league and a growing team big time with his dirty selfishness, I hope he'll get fired real quick in Chelsea

Wow, that is a total dick move on his part. Way to keep it classy.

I don't tend to root for Montreal, but he's fun to watch and that's shitty.

Any word on where he's going? I assume Seattle

According to Galarcep, he's already in negotiations with Seattle.

The U.S. national team prospect has made the decision to turn pro after leading Stanford to its first NCAA title, sources have confirmed to Goal's Ives Galarcep.

Jordan Morris has done all there is to do on the college level, and he now looks ready to embark on the next chapter of his promising career.

The U.S. national team forward and Stanford University star will forego his senior season to turn pro, multiple sources confirmed to Goal USA. Morris is in advanced negotiations with the Seattle Sounders on a contract that will make him the highest-paid homegrown player in MLS history.

Sounds like Defoe 2.0... except he was actually, you know, as good as advertised (or better, really)

- SI: Jordan Morris to train with Werder Bremen amid making club decision
The MLS-or-Germany story involving 21-year-old U.S. national team forward Jordan Morris has taken another turn. Morris is set to travel to Germany and spend time with Werder Bremen after he attends the Hermann Award trophy gala in St. Louis on Friday, SI.com has learned.

Morris is set to be part of the U.S. national team’s January camp in Southern California, but he is not expected to join the team until Jan. 20, 10 days into the camp.

Most of the speculation is that he's just testing the waters in Germany, but he'll eventually end up with the Sounders. Morris seemingly has his head on straight, so it makes sense for him to at least take a quick look at European options before making a decision.

Could also be a negotiation thing too, if they think he's got options that are serious then they may be willing to bump up the numbers in his contract.

Have no problem with him checking his options. I just don't want him sitting on a bench abroad for Jurgen's sake.

Seattle has already offered him a record homegrown player contract (for whatever that's worth) so yeah this could be a way to push for more money since he can't get a better offer elsewhere domestically.

If he plays abroad, it won't be for Jurgen's sake. It'll be because he wants to test himself and see if he can play at a level that is higher than MLS. Bremen is a stable club and could serve as a good jumping off point if he opted to go there.

Wahl with a few details on Jan camp in SI:
- Seven veteran players who were on Klinsmann’s preliminary 36-player list are now not expected to be involved in the camp at all: Clint Dempsey, Nick Rimando, Graham Zusi, Kyle Beckerman, Brad Evans, Chris Wondolowski and Gonzalez.
- Michael Bradley, the team captain, will be on the roster that is expected to comprise 25 players, around 12 of whom who are on the Under-23 team.
- Sporting Kansas City midfielder Benny Feilhaber, who made the MLS Best XI last season and was an MVP finalist, is not on the U.S. roster.
- Other players on the roster include Jesse Gonzalez, the 20-year-old FC Dallas goalkeeper who’s eligible for the U.S. and Mexico; Luis Robles, the reigning MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, whose one cap came in 2009.

It's about damn time they started looking at Robles, he's been too good year in and year out for a while now to be ignored the way he has. Omar just went to Mexico so I just presume they want to let him integrate into his new team without issue. The rest that aren't expected are all on the old side and the team needs to start weeding out older players anyway.
